Petitioner is the second of four children and well supported by their loving parents. Their living
condition and lifestyle was harmonious and peaceful.

Petitioner is married to Catherine Navarro, a resident of San Jose, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur, and
are blessed with two children. A doting father, petitioner enjoys a very satisfactory relationship with his
children. However, his relationship with his wife is presently affected after his incarceration. His wife was
deeply hurt and ashamed, having a husband who is convicted and was involved in using the illegal
drugs. She shares that due to herein case, their children cried and were ashamed to go to school
because their classmate would bully them that their father is in prison. Petitioner is close to his children,
because it is the petitioner who fetches them up in school.

Petitioner and his family has been living with his in-laws at San Jose, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur.
His wife inherited the sari-sari store owned by petitioner's in-laws. He and his wife are not struggling
financially since they are living with the latter's parents and his cousin, the incumbent Mayor of Aurora,
Zamboanga del Sur also helps them.

Petitioner is alleged to be physically and mentally healthy, he never had experienced of getting
hospitalized but drinks intoxicating beverages occasionally.
Petitioner is a very loving father and enjoyed a good relationship with his wife, prior to his
involvement in the instant case. He used to take care of their children, especially when his wife is busy
in their store.
Negative:
Petitioner is naturally a good person. He is friendly and is not abusive. He is a good father to
his children and had a good relationship with his wife, until after he got detained.

Alma Navarro and Neighbor of the Both claimed to have known the petitioner and his

respectful and courteous and he is not a problem to

surmised that it was because of his association with his
co-workers in the rice milling, who influenced him to
engage in the illegal activity. Anyway both believed that
having detained in jail will help him realized of his
wrongdoings. They favor to grant him second chance.
Renato Flores
Barangay Captain, He stated that petitioner has no derogatory record
San Jose, Aurora, registered on their office nor complaints filed against
Zamboanga del him. However, he stated that, before being
Sur apprehended, petitioner was always reminded to stop
using the prohibited drugs. Petitioner's cousin is their
municipality mayor, and was even the trusted caretaker
of the latter's rice milling. But petitioner did not follow
their advices and eventually convicted of herein case.
