House reflects mourning (dark colours, reminders of what was are everywhere)

Continued grief past the natural process
Internalized sadness (no laughing allowed)

Mourning starts with real loss, but moves in to keep the non-productive hurt alive and hurting

21. Spirit of Stupor – Romans 11:8. According as it is written, God gave them a spirit of
stupor, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear, unto this very day.

22. Death - Hebrews 2:14-15. Since the children, as he calls them, are people of flesh and
blood, Jesus himself became like them and shared their human nature. He did this so that through
his death he might destroy the devil, who has the power over death, and in this way set free those
who were slaves all their lives because of their fear of death.

Death is not called a spirit in scripture, but it acts like a root spirit and it definitely can be a curse.

Satan is very serious about bringing you into bondage and keeping you there. Jesus is very
serious about getting you out!
