Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan

Teacher welcomes children in the morning and asks them how they feel and if something happened interesting and
want to talk about it in a circle time. later, teacher tells children that they will be doing a different type of activity,
actually a game to play in the garden. However, to do this they need to watch a video about what the game is about
and what are its rules. Teacher opens the PowToon presentation that s/he prepared before the class. In this
presentation, continents are being reviewed for children to recall their previous knowledge regards seven
continents. Each continent is being talked about with the children, as teacher pauses the presentation for children to
participate. When the reviewing continents parts over, teacher asks how children did remember all the information
and if they feel like they can play a game about it. Teacher shows the treasure hunt materials to children and
explains the game in which they need to find the hidden continents in the garden to complete their templates.
Colored continents are hidden by the teacher before the class in the garden for children to find. Children are
expected to search for continents in the garden and find their rightful spot on the template they have. Continent
parts are attachable to template with patafix so that children would not have trouble playing the game. The
template itself is a self-correcting material, however, if children have trouble finding where to attach the continents
on the template, teacher might lead them in the game. Also, if children have trouble in finding the hidden
continents, teacher might give hints or extend the game by playing hot and cold in which teacher says hot when
children are closer to continents and cold when they are away from continents. When all children find the
continents on their templates, they go back to classroom to check if all of them did right while watching the rest of
the video. To do so, teacher can talk about the continents and ask children question about assessing their knowledge
and experience.
