Online or
Physical?
Our school is a combination of online and physical
teaching. Some work will be done on laptops issued to
the students and some work will be given by a teacher.
Having an online and physical program will be
beneficial to students because they will be able to work
at their own pace and have a more flexible schedule
while also having opportunities to develop their social
skills.
Our
Classrooms
To make students more comfortable, we will
add items like rugs, couches, and softer
seating to our classrooms. We will also give
students the option to take their shoes by
putting shoe racks and cubbies to all
classrooms. More advanced technology will
also be available in our classrooms, such as
smartboards and 3D printers.
Where is our school?

We decided to build our school on the coast of North

Carolina, somewhere in the Outer Banks. If we built our
school here, we could use the water close to our
campus to power it. Using hydroelectric energy will be
cheaper than using fossil fuels, nuclear, or natural gas
as an energy source and will be convenient because
our school will be located near the ocean.
What we need our energy for

Things we need power for

-Lights

-AC and Heating

-Charging Laptops

chef to make the children’s meals and a monitor to watch the children, in case they misbehave or need
assistance.
Our school will not serve nuts because of severe
nut allergies and will label all foods with their
ingredients so students can avoid foods
containing ingredients they are allergic to.

Because of other food restrictions,

students may have, our school will Food Restrictions
always have alternate vegetarian
meals and a variety of drinks, not
just milk.
