A) UNIT 8 – GERUNDS, examples

- I don't remember saying anything like that

 A) UNIT 8 – WRITING ABOUT FRIENDSHIP

Before , in the school I was a little shy and I had trouble making new
friends. Luis mendoza was my friend in the school, every break we played
soccer and talked in the class.
In the university , I changed my personality because I am more talkative
and I had more friends. Juan Galvez was my best friend in university. We
studied all time in the library. The exams was very difficult but we learn a
lot of thing there. Now I enjoy meeting new people.

B) UNIT 9 – WRITING ABOUT PROCASTINATE

Procastinate is a bad habit that I had. In university, I procastinate with my

subjects. I had a few problems with that because in the final exams, I didn
´t have time for study correctly and I started too late to study on time. I
never used to plan my schedule but I was fortunate to get a good grades.
So, I schedule my time very well, I discovered that If I study every day for 4
days before the exam, I got a Good grade because I had time for do other
things.

C) UNIT 10 – WRITING ABOUT MY HEALTH

I practice sports every time and runing 3 kilometers in the weekend for my
health but my food is not healthy because i eat fast food and I drink a can
of soda also i don´t like salads and I don´t eat fish.
In this time I try to change my habit food. I eat more healty because it is
necessary for my life. It is a long process because I need to develop this
habit. Now I eat salads every day and I feel good with my progress.

1. LIKEWISE: You use “likewise” when you are comparing two methods,
states, or situations and saying that they are similar.

2. HENCE: You use hence to indicate that the statement you are about
to make is a consequence of what you have just said.

3. NEVERTHELESS: You use nevertheless when saying something that

contrasts with what has just been said.

4. ALLOCATE: An allocation is an amount of something, especially

money, that is given to a particular person or used for a particular
purpose.

5. DISPAIR: Is the feeling that everything is wrong and that nothing will
improve.

6. OUTCOME: The outcome of an activity, process, or situation is the

situation that exists at the end of it.

7. THEREBY: You use thereby to introduce an important result or

consequence of the event or action you have just mentioned.

8. MOREOVER: You use moreover to introduce a piece of information

that adds to or supports the previous statement.

9. WHEREAS: You use whereas to introduce a comment which

contrasts with what is said in the main clause.

10. ADJUSTMENT: An adjustment is a small change that is made to

something such as a machine or a way of doing something.

In this course, I convinced that is important to review the grammar y
review the subjects in intermediate.
In unit 8 to 15, I learn more about in listening, speaking and gramar.I need
to practice more speaking.
For me, the grammar in unit 14 and 15 was difficult but I practice for the
quiz and final exam.
