FAQs
1) What is OfficeRide?

OfficeRide is an intelligent shuttle service that lets you travel from popular locations in the city for your
daily office commute with minimum cost and maximum comfort.

2) How can I book my ride?

 Open app and land on home screen


 Enter your pickup and end stop
 Select the travel date
 Search for routes
 Select your schedule and pay through paytm
 After successful payment, seat will be booked for you on the selected shuttle
 You can view the ride details in ‘My Ride’ section for further tracking of the shuttle.
 Bookings on a particular schedule will close 5 minutes before stop start time.

You can book your travel for the whole week. Booking for next week will be open on Saturday evening
after 6pm.

For convenience for regular booking, please save your home and work stops. It will avoid of hassle of
selecting pickup and drop location every time you do booking.
3) Can I cancel my ride after booking?

Change of plans!! You can cancel the ride anytime upto 10 minutes before your pickup time at free of
cost and money will refunded to your wallet or account used for payment.

4) How to modify my booking?

Bookings cannot be modified. You can cancel and rebook. No cancellation charges, complete money will
be refunded.

5) Can I track my ride?

By all means. Click the ‘Track ride’ button and track your ride live along with vehicle details & ETA
(Estimated time of arrival) details. Plan the departure from your place accordingly to minimize waiting
time. Please do give yourself some buffer to manage unforeseen situation.

P.S: Tracking starts 15 minutes before the scheduled start of the shuttle.

You can also contact driver in case tracking information is inaccurate. Vehicle number is also available
for easy spotting of the vehicle on the road.

If you are not able to use the tracking feature on the app, feel free to give a call the operations team
from the app and we will be happy to support you.

6) What if I miss my shuttle?

No worries! Book a ride in the next possible shuttle. No refund can be provided in case of a No-Show.

7) How to board the shuttle?

Very simple.

 Reach your pickup stop and spot your shuttle based on the vehicle location provided on the app.
 Upon vehicle arrival, see your name from the list of names displayed on the tab kept at the
entrance
 Show your Ford ID Card to validate your identity if required.
 Sit back and relax

8) Where are the boarding/off-boarding stops at office?

Off-boarding will be done outside offices on the MGR Road for Ford employees. Employees of other
organization will be dropped and picked up at their office locations.

9) How do I find my pickup location?

The shuttle will pickup passengers from popular landmarks in your area. You can also see your pickup
location on your tracking screen. For further assistance, please reach out to us by phone/email.

10) Can I ride the shuttle without booking?

No, you need to have a pre-booking through the app to use the services.
11) Can I get in / out at locations different from booking?

The shuttle will travel on the fixed route and will halt at the designated stops as per the schedule. Kindly
do not encourage/ask the driver to halt at any other locations. In-case you need any additional stops to
be added/changed, please reach out to us.

12) What if I needed more clarity?

For issue or queries requiring immediate action, please give us a call to the admin helpline provided in
the application. For other concerns, you can reach us by email at OFICRIDE@ford.com. Our clock starts
ticking the moment we hear from you.

13) Can I ride my shuttle on Saturday/Sunday & public holidays?

No. We don’t operate on Saturday, Sunday & Public holidays.

14) What are the routes you active at?

The active stops and routes are visible on the app at all times. Please visit the Active Route tab on the
app to find the stops on your route.

15) Can’t find your route?

We will adding new routes based on demand. Write to us at OFICRIDE@ford.com and we are happy to
help.

16) How do I pay for my ride?

You can pay using any mode of payment i.e Paytm Wallet, Credit Card, Debit Card and Internet Banking.

17) Are there monthly passes?

Presently No. Will keep you posted on the developments.

18) Do shuttles run the same routes every day?

Shuttles run on a preplanned weekly schedule - Please check the app and make a booking to know the
current schedules.

19) Do I need a physical ticket for my shuttle?

No. Just a booking confirmation on the app will do.

20) How to give feedbacks about the drivers?

Good/Bad, Write to us. Bad – We will correct it. Good – We will reward it!

21) While booking amount got deducted but seat was not booked. How can I get refund for the
transaction?

Don’t worry. Your money is in safe hands. To book your seat, please booking again after sometime. For
the failed transaction, please write back to us on oficride@ford.com, we will do the needful to refund
the amount back to your account.
22) Etiquettes for the benefit of all.

Thank you in advance for following the below guidelines.

 Board the shuttle only with a valid pre-booked shuttle.


 Get in and get out only at the designated stops for the benefit of all. We understand you and
exceptions are okay.
 Please keep the shuttles clean at all times. Kindly refrain from consuming eatables/littering while on
board the shuttle.
 Do not carry any sharp objects/hazardous goods while onboard the Shuttle.
 Please arrive on time at your stop to board the Shuttle. Shuttles will move after boarding all
available passengers and will not be able to wait for specific people. Kindly cooperate.
 Use the Wifi only for checking mails, messages and light browsing as downloading/streaming tends
to reduce the speed for others too.

Q. What is a pass and what benefits I get from buying it?

A. A pass is a bunch of rides to meet your daily commute requirements and save money. You can buy a
monthly pass with 10, 20 & 40 rides. More rides purchased results in more savings. It removes the hassle
of daily payments and provides a seamless booking experience. Just use the rides from pass to book
your rides and buy a new one once previous one gets exhausted.

Q. How to purchase a pass?

A. To purchase a pass

 Select pickup and drop location from My Passes screen and search for passes.
 Select a pass that suits your monthly commute requirements – 10, 20 & 40 rides.
 Each pass will have different discount available for them
o 40 rides offers 37.5% discount on per ride cost for same number of rides
o 10 rides offers 10% discount on per ride cost for same number of rides
 Each pass comes with a validity of 30 calendar days.
 Review the schedules available between stops selected.
 Pay for the pass using paytm wallet/Credit Card/Debit Card/Netbanking/UPI
 Upon successful confirmation, rides will be available in your pass to start booking.
 Buying the pass doesn't automatically book your seat. Users are required to follow the booking
process to reserve a seat in their preferred schedule.
 Users can start booking upon buying the pass.
Q. How to book rides using passes?

A. Once you have purchased a pass, you can book your rides using two options:-

 Passes can be used to book both onward and return rides.


 On home screen, click on Use Pass to move to My Passes screen to book your rides using passes.
 On the menu, click on My Passes and move to My Passes screen to book your rides using passes.
 Booking can be done for single trip or round trip.
 Upon booking, rides will be deducted from the pass. Rides will be added back to pass upon
cancellation.

Q. When will be a pass get expired?


A. A pass will get expired upon:

 Completion of all rides available in the pass.


 Upon expiration of validity. Validity cannot be extended beyond the expiration of pass.
Passes are valid till the midnight of the expiration date of pass .Passes cannot be used to book
rides beyond the validity date.
Q. Can I cancel rides booked using passes?
A. Yes, you can cancel your rides booked using passes. Existing cancellation rule apply that a ride can
be cancelled before 10 minutes before trip start.
Q. Can I buy two passes at the same time?
A. No, a user can buy only one pass at a time. A user can buy a new pass only after existing pass
expires either after completing all rides or expiration of validity. A user can buy a new pass even
though he has rides to be completed from old pass. Upon buying a new pass, user will not be able
to cancel rides booked from previous pass.
Buying a new pass doesn’t extends the validity of old pass.
Q. Can I change the stops of my pass after purchasing?
A. No, a pass cannot be modified after the purchase. A pass cannot be refunded or transferred to
other user.
Q. Will unused rides from my current pass be carried forward when I buy a new pass?
A. No, unused rides from current pass will get expired once the validity of the pass is over.
Q. Can I book a ride on other routes if I have bought a pass?
A. Yes you can pay and book your ride on other routes. Pass cannot be used to book your ride
between locations other than locations selected in the pass.
