GENERAL POLICIES: RULES ND REGULATIONS

ADMISSION REQUIREMENT:
1. Applicants for Grade 7 must present their from 138 (Grade Six Report Card), Birth
Certificate, Certificate of Good Moral Character and participate/support in the Brigada
Eskwela.
2. Student transferees must submit F-138, Certification of Good Moral Character, and will
undergo an interview with the Guidance Counselor or the assigned committee.
3. Old students should present to the enrolling officer the F-138 of the previous term. If he/she
has back subject/s, he/she also presents certification of grades for the subject taken during
summer period.
UNIFORM REQUIREMENT
Every student is required to wear the complete daily uniform on the first day of classes.
New students, however, may be required to wear daily uniform two weeks after the opening of
classes, Uniform should always be neat and clean.
I.D CARDS
School IDs shall be issued to Grade 7 and transferees for free. ID is part of School
Uniform and all students are required to wear their ID cards at all times within the school
premises. Lost ID’s will not be replaced by the school and it is a student’s responsibility to
secure/replace the lost ID.
ATTENDANCE, DROP-OUTS AND ABSENCES
1. Regularity of attendance and punctuality in the class and in all other school activities should
be strictly observed by all students.
2. Students who have been absent can be readmitted in their classes only upon presentation of
readmission slip signed by the Guidance Counselor.
a. To secure an admission slip, a student must present a valid proof of the cause of
his/her absence with a letter signed hiss/her parent or guardian.
b. In case of two or more days absences, he must bring his/her parent or guardian for a
conference with the guidance counselor.
3. Any student who accumulated ten (10) consecutive days unexcused absences in any subject/s
will automatically be dropped from said subject.
LIBRARY REGULATION
The library is only opened during school days. The main function of the library is to
help the faculy and students in their Academic and Instructional needs.
LIBRARY HOURS
The Sipocot National High School Library is open from 8:00 – 12:00nn/ 1:00 – 5:00
pm during school days.
EXAMINATION
1. Examination permit is issued every grading period by the GPTA treasurer if and only if there is
a collection approved of the GPTA Assembly.
2. Students with examination permits are the only ones allowed to take the examination. However,
the one who has none, may present a promisory note signed by the parent, noted by the adviser and
can definitely take the test.
3. Cheating during an examination day is wrong. Any student caught cheating will be subject ot
disciplinary action.
CONDUCT AND DISCIPLINE
On Speech and Manner
1. Students are expected to give due respect to all faculty members, School personnel, visitors and
fellow students. “RESPECT OTHERS IN ORDER TO BE RESPECTED” is a beautiful maxim to
be borne in mind.
2. Student should not utter vulgar or profane language in and out of the school campus.
3. They should refrain from speaking dialect inside the classroom. Use ENGLISH or FILIPINO.
On Cleanliness
1. Cleanliness should be the sacred duty and responsibility of every individual in the campus. It is
well to remember that CLEAN THOUGHTS AND CLEAN WORDS PRODUCE CLEAN
HABITS.” Every student is expected to do his/her part in maintaining the surroundings clean at all
times.
2. All rubbish should be placed in garbage cans or receptacles provided for the purpose.
3. Everyone is encouraged to make use of their pockets for their dry waste/garbage and to be
dropped on the sack provided before going home in the afternoon.
4. All students are expected to practice good hygiene and cleanliness in all classroom CR’s and CR
in the campus and shall be used with proper care.
On Loitering
1. During vacant period students are required to stay in the library or in their own room observing
complete silence.’
2. During TLE and PE periods students are required to be in their designated place of work and not
to go somewhere else.
On Vices
1. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the school premises.
2. No students under the influence of liquor will be allowed within the school campus.
3. Gambling is not allowed within the school premises
4. Farternities, sororities and gangs are strictly prohibited in the school. Anbody caught organizing
or recruiting members to said fraternities will be subjected to severe disciplinary action and may
even be turned over to the local police station.
5. Drug pushers and Drug users are strictly prohibited in the school.
On Obedience and Respect
1. Respect and deference to the adminitsration, faculty members, school personnel and fellow
students should always be observed by all students.
2. Every student must be refined in their speech and be considerate of the feeling of others.
3. Every student must havea full concern and care to school properties. They should religiously
refrain from doing any marks, writing, carving or the like on school properties.
4. Good manners and orderliness must be observed upon entering and leaving classrooms, canteen,
library and laboratories.
On Being Modest and Decent
1. Every student must practice the virtue of purity and modesty which is manifested in his/her
words, action, dress and gesture.
2. Objectionable literature should be confiscated and the students concerned will be subjected to
severe disciplinary action.
3. Deadly weapons are strictly prohibited inside the school campus. Anyone caught in possession
of deadly weapons will be punished administratively and maybe referred to the local police
officials.
