The rate of the pregnant teenager in Thailand is pretty high comparing to the other
country around the World. According to the Public Health Ministry's Bureau of Reproductive
Health (2015).. according to the Public Health Ministry's Bureau of Reproductive Health
(2015). During puberty, the human body is starting to change and one of the thing that can’t
prevent the spread of STDs (sexually transmitted diseases) and pregnancy. Condom is 98%
effective from preventing pregnancy without other birth control product. It can greatly help
someone who are not ready to have child. So, setting up condom vending machine in the
schools may lower the risk of students getting pregnant and spread of infectious disease.

The question that the survey asked was, do they they agree to have the contraceptive
vending machine in school. The choices are yes, no, and let’s not talk about it. The figure
shows that the majority of students who did the survey of 75% answered “yes.”For who don’t
want to talk about this topic and who say “no” got the percentage of 13.5% and 11.5%. Most
of them accept to setup the contraceptive vending machine in the school area, so they are well
aware about the spread of STDs and pregnancy. While some people may think this kind of
things are too embarrassing for them and are not ready for contraceptive vending machine.
Male condoms are safe and effective contraceptive. According to Planned Parenthood,
effectiveness will drop to 85 if use incorrectly. It also provide protection against STIs that are
transmitted through bodily fluids. Condoms act as the protection from bodily fluid that cause
infection (Fletcher, 2018). Plus, with the proper teaching of health science the school will
make their students to be more knowledgeable about the contraceptive and will prevent the
rate of the pregnant teenager and sexually transmitted disease. If some students get pregnant,
they might get worried about telling their family and friends. Keeping the problem to
themselves and not getting the help they need, so this can lead to problems in home and at
school (Carey, 2018).So, If the school purchase the contraceptive vending machine and teach
the students about how to put on the protection the story like this will not happen to the
students.

This report concludes that most of the students who did the survey think that
contraceptive vending machine is acceptable and should be setup in school in order to prevent
the risk of STDs and pregnancy. However, some of them still think that this machine is
inappropriate to be in school and think that students should have nothing to do with this
contraceptive.
