I. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to learn the ff.
1. Identify the unique features of communication process.
2. Distinguish the unique features of one communication process from the other.
II. SUBJECT MATTER:
Topic: Nature and Elements of communication process.
Materials: Manila paper
References: Oral Communication textbook
Procedure:
A. Preparatory Activities
1. Greetings
2. Prayer
3. Checking of attendance
4. Review: What are the various models of communication?

Motivation: What do playing baseball and communication have in common?


B. Lesson Proper
1. Activity
a. Group the class into 4 groups.
b. Each group are task to draw on how the process of communication
happens. For 2 minutes one representative of each group are required
to report and explain their output.
2. Analysis
Based on the activity what do you think are the unique features of
communication process?
3. Abstraction:
a. Process the concept given by the students.
b. Explain and discuss the features of communication process.
4. Application:
“Challenge: Paste it and tell me what it is?”
1. Students will be divided into 4 groups.
2. Each group will be given set of words associated with unique features of
communication. Let them complete the retrieval chart through posting the
given set of words in appropriate column. For 2 minutes, allow the group to
justify their answer through reporting.
III. EVALUATION
In a ½ crosswise, give at least 2 features of communication then discuss it.

IV. ASSIGNMENT
Why there is a breakdown of communication?
