Course Name Rhythmic Activity (P.E.

112 )
Course Credits 2 Units
This course provides students with an opportunity to gain knowledge on the historical development,
experience the different warm-up and rhythmic exercises, and demonstrate partner/group dance choreography
and composition in time with rhythm. Furthermore, this course also intends to appreciate the values of dancing

and encourage self-discovery, spontaneous interaction and experiences that will surely bring direct
satisfaction and pleasure.

At the end of the course the students are expected the following competencies:

1. Provide information about Gender and Development


2. Gain knowledge and understanding on the historical development of dance.
3. Execute the fundamental skills in dancing correctly.

5. Demonstrate self-confidence through dancing.
6. Display knowledge and understanding by passing the quizzes and practical examination.
