Board Game
Deforestation, overuse pesticide, overfishing in oceans, methane, carbon dioxide, and
nitrous oxides released in farming and relationship to climate change, and human health
issues from meat pesticides, and pollution of soil, water, air are the issues that we had chosen
from all the topics provide. We choose these topics because we are interested in these topics
and they are the issues that is well known to us. We also think that doing topics that we are
familiar with and have basic knowledge on it will make the project’s outlook and knowledge
applied from researches better. Furthermore, these topics are the issues that are preventable if
we successfully able to engage people to prevent, stop, and eliminate the issues.
These topics are well known issues, for example, deforestation happens world widely
for many reasons including agriculture plantation, for constructing buildings, used in making
papers, and etc. These issues as well affect the human’s health and other organisms which
includes both animals and plants. Trees are affected physically from the cuttings of trees,
animals loss there habitat. Therefore, we wanted to expand the ways to prevent these issues to
go further, for example, using less tree and learn to manage land use could lessen the amount
of deforestation in this world. However, the rest of the information will be told in the project.
The product is a board game adapted from a board game called ‘Survive – Escape from
Atlantis’.
