People in the United States are arguing about their beliefs regarding abortions.

Abortions are morally wrong and against the rights of an unborn because they brutally kill the

fetus and there severe consequences that the women receive after abortion . Through

protesting people are stating their beliefs and raising their awareness for their cause. Others

believe abortions are a personal choice for a women and they have the right to do it. So killing a

baby in a brutal way/not even with anesthesia contradicts the argument of these individuals.

Being pro-choice cannot mean you kill a baby brutally having so many other options like giving

up you baby for adoption. The fetus has the right to live because it is not their fault for their

mother’s actions.

One reason that supports abortion brutally killing the fetus in clinics is by using herbal

medicines, sharp tools, with force, or through other traditional methods to kill the fetus while

taking it out of the mother's womb. For example, in the website betterhealth.com they stated

that, “All abortion tools harm the fetus, either by cutting the fetus body parts one by one with

sharp tools or by taking a vacuum and suctioning it while it cuts the fetus all up.” Performing

abortions with these kinds of tool with the fetus alive/ without any anesthesia proves that

abortions are brutally killing the fetus. In addition, scientist have also found out that a fetus can

feel pain while an a abortion is performed. ​Dr. Paul Ranalli states that, “​Two independent

studies in 2006 used brain scans of the sensory part of unborn babies’ brains, showing

response to pain as early as 8 weeks and abortions are performed before 20 weeks.” This

provides a good example of a fetus already feeling pain as early as the 8 weeks and abortion

clinics performing the abortion before 20 weeks, which proves that a fetus is able to feel the

pain. Now you are able to see the kinds of brutal tools clinics use and the proven fact that a

fetus is able to feel the pain.

 Same as before, many scientist have also found that a woman have many kinds of

consequences after an abortion is performed. For instance, Dr. Paul stated that, “ Abortion can

bring many kinds of effect to you like, haemorrhage(bleeding after), infections, injury to the

uterus, and injury to the cervix.” Having these side effects after abortion can be really risky and

painful, only some can be treated with antibiotics. Moreover, not only performing an abortion

can bring physics pain but also emotional and psychological pain. According to The State

Health Center, “A women may feel sad that she was in a position where all of her choices were

difficult ones, she may also experience a sense of emptiness or guilt, wondering whether or not

her decision was correct.” Women having to feel these kinds of emotions which then could lead

to something worse like depression, is really unfair that’s why I believe abortion should not be

performed. Now you can see that performing a abortion can not only bring physical

consequences but emotional and psychological pain.

On the other hand, some people would argue that abortions are a personal choice for a

women and they have the right to do it. It’s their body and they are able to do anything with it.

As Nicole Breen explains, “Abortion is about allowing women the right to make choices about

when they want to have children in relation to their age, financial stability & relationship

stability.” This evidence demonstrates that a woman has the right to make a choices whether to

perform a abortion or not. However, this doesn’t address the fact that the fetus also has the right

to live and has the right not feel that kind of brutal pain due to the mother’s actions. Therefore,

the fetus has the right to live because he/she is not responsible for the mother’s actions.
 Without a doubt, abortion should not be legal because they brutally kill a fetus and brings

many kinds of consequences to the women. The evidence that I provided supports the fact the a

fetus is killed by the usage of brutal tools. The consequences that abortion brings to a women

affecting the physical body, emotional and psychological pain. It is urgent that all abortions

clinics get closed and that abortion should stop being legal. The fetus has the right to live

because it is not their fault for their mother’s actions.
