AGREED ORDER IMPLEMENTING A GAG ORDER PROHIBITING PUBLIC
COMMUNICATION
The State of Tennessee. by and through the 19" Judicial District's
istrict Attorney
General's Office, and the defendant, by and through is counsel of record. came before the court
im agreement to propose that the court implement a gag order in this case. Due to the nature of
this case, the parties are in agreement that both sides shall be prohibited from making any public
and or extra-judicial statements to the media or other individuals. ‘This order shall pertain to all
lawyers participating in the case, staff members, assistants and/or investigators. This shall
include the Robertson County SherifY’s Department, which is the law enforcement agency that
handled the ease,
Upon review of the matter, the court finds the request to be well taken due to the nature
of the alleged offenses and approves the implementation of « gag order.
THEREFORE IT IS ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED that all members of
Attorney General’s Office, the Robertson County Sheriff's
Department and the law oflice of Peter Strianse shall be prohibited from making public and or
icial statements regarding this matter. This order shall not restrict the 19" Judicial
District's District Attorney General's Office from speaking to the alleged minor vietim(s) and
their parents along with other witnesses involved in the case. As well, Mr. Strianse and his staffshall be allowed to consult and speak with witnesses and potential experts thal they need to
consult with to adequately prepare.
