The cause being on the docket on April 5, 2019, and the court having received requests
from media organizations requesting access to the courtroom for coverage of the above
captioned case; itis, therefore, ordered as follows:
‘Access shall be allowed pursuant to, and in accordance with, Rule 30 of the Rules of the
‘Tennessee Supreme Court. Only those orgonizations filing written requests in accordance with
the Rule shall be admitted to the courtroom, ‘The Clerk shall provide notice to all attorneys of all
such requests. All organizations requesting access shall designete a liaison and shall agree
among themselves, without assistance from the Cletk's office regarding all pooling arrangements
as contemplated under Rule 30. All media participants shall observe appropriate decorum and
‘cause no disruptions during the proceedings. All media participants shall recognize that security
in the courtroom is paramount and shall follow all security guidelines.
‘The only coverage allowed shall be that of the proceeding itself, beginning with the call
by the court officer to begin proceedings. No coverage shall be live streamed prior to court
opening. No coverage shall be allowed of any other proceeding for which access has not been
requested.‘The only proceeding for which media coverage shall be allowed is the instant proceeding.
‘Ench media organization shall provide to the Clerk, prior to the beginning of the proceeding, the
‘names of all individuals who will be present in the courtroom in their professional capacities.
Any media organizations found to be in violation hereof shall be banned from the
courtroom, and such organizations and/or their representatives present in the courtroom may be
subject to judicial penalties as appropriate.
