Weaknesses of Qualitative Research
•Data gathering is often time-consuming.
•Analysis of data takes longer than that in
quantitative research.
•Interpretation of results is usually biased
because it is influenced by the researcher’s
perspective.
•Conclusions are not generalizable because the
subjects are few and sometimes possess
unique characteristics compared to typical
respondents.
