Topic: Hyperplasia, Neoplasm And Metaplasia

I. Outcomes
1. Student will be able to explain hyperplasia, neoplasm and metaplasia.
2. Student will be able to differentiate hyperplasia, neoplasm and metaplasia.
3. Student will be able to cite the pathological and beneficial effect of hyperplasia,
neoplasm and metaplasia in an organism.

II. Setting Up the Stage


Conduct a pre-test about the topic.
III. Lesson Proper

a. Engage: What do you think will happen if hyperplasia, neoplasm and metaplasia
stop or go beyond it’s normal function?
Learners formulate hypothesis/tentative answers to the inquiry question posted.

b. Explore: * Learners will watch the videos to be presented by the teacher about the
topic.
* Learners collect, analyze and interpret data/information as they
conduct investigation and provide answers to the activity question.

c. Explain:
Learners communicate result/findings as they present the results of their activity
and/or answers to the activity questions.
Teacher processes students’ responses/results of their activity and at the same
time will explain further the lesson.

d. Elaborate
Learners formulate general conclusion and apply concepts learned to real
situation.

e. Evaluate
Teacher will conduct a post-test.

IV. Assignment:

Read at least 3 Related literatures about hyperplasia, neoplasm and metaplasia.
