What is Love?

I don’t actually know it in terms of loving someone who’s a stranger before and hopes for deeper
affection to each other because I don’t actually experience it yet. But all I know base on what I’ve observed
and what I believe in my self is that to live is to love.

Love is a sacred thing that should be kept carefully and lend to someone worthy of it. It is a
powerful force that keeps you close to each other even in ups and downs. One cannot find a perfect love
that comes from a human being, a perfect love like what we’ve all seen or maybe lots of woman have
seen on fairytales and other love stories that have a happy ending. Love is not always as positive as we’ve
all thought it is, when you know that the rope between you and the other person is getting thinner and
thinner, cutting it is already a sign of love because you cannot hold someone to love you even though you
knew that the other person couldn’t do much than what you’ve expected.

Love is very mysterious because it is a story, not just a simple story, but a unique story that will
make your love more interesting to be witnessed. Don’t ever expect a story of love to be as exact as other
story of love. Don’t try to make an unwise decision by comparing your version of love to other and copying
their solution to the same problem you have. We have different context in life, so many determinants
that should be considered before making a decision. Don’t be so foolish to copy other stories just because
it is ideal for you. Imagination lives in your dreams while reality lives in your heart. Focus on what you
have and make the best out of it.

Lastly, love for me is natural. If you’re in love with someone, don’t try to think of changing yourself
for that person to love you back. Let that person love you the way you are when he/she meets you. And
let him/her take care of your negative traits when you’re already in the relationship. Pretending to be
someone is actually pretending also that you love someone. Do not be confuse of what others tell you
and what your heart tells you. Just like what I’ve said, love is mysterious, it will make you fall in love with
a person you never knew would be so. The surface we see in a person could make you admire him/her
but whenever you see the inner part of that person, it could make you love him/her.

To sum up the beliefs I have about love, to live is to love but we never knew when we would be
in love. It’s dangerous to trust someone but it’s even more dangerous to trust no one. If we don’t love,
we aren’t living yet. Khaawp khun khrup!
