ANNUAL ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT IN ENGLISH


S.Y 2014-2015
I. INTRODUCTION

English is a tool subject. When one understand and learn the skill in communication, he/she will
learn and understand the other subjects. So teaching English subject requires time, health, mind and body
and a good stimuli.

Every teacher should have a rich knowledge and information of new ways, techniques and
strategies of teaching the subject and also innovative end of the school year, he/she can report his/her
accomplishments, the fruits his/her labor.

II. OBJECTIVES

This report intends to:


1. Give information about achievements/ accomplishments made by the teacher and the pupils.
2. Identify the activities undertaken to achieve the desire target for this year.
3. Express future plans for the subject.

III. HIGHLIGHTS OF ACCOMPLISHMENT:

A. Pupil Development

1. Conducted the Pre and Post test in Phil-Iri.


2. Implemented the Read-A-Loud to develop love for reading.
3. Implemented different intervention programs to enhance reading and comprehension
like ECARP, Word for the Day, Paragraph a Day, A Story a Day.
4. Conducted Intensive review classes and Saturday Review Classes to prepare the pupils
Grade 3 and Grade 6.

B. Teacher Development

1. Attended District/ Division Level-Seminar Workshop on School Paper.


2. Attended District based in Service Training.
3. Attended the NAT Orientation.
4. Served as a school testing coordinator in NAT.

C. Curriculum Development

1. Finished/ completed the required learning competencies for each grade level.
2. Assessed pupils’ performance through different tests.
3. Conducted NAT 3 and NAT 6 Review.
4. Received supplementary books in English Grade I-VI.
5. Continuous preparation of Instructional Materials.
6. Provided and used proto-type lesson plans.
D. Physical Facilities Development

1. Continuous room structuring to make them conducive to learning.


2. Provided updated information for the subject through bulletin and display boards.
3. Put up SLRC and CLRC.

IV. FUTURE PLANS

1. Solicit 99% support from the parents and other stakeholders.


2. Procure Multi-media equipment
3. Eradicate non-reader
