I have been Veronica’s teacher and Romanian Literature teacher since September 2013.

I have also
been the coordinator of Starfish Volunteering Club and of some extracurricular projects she was
involved in, such as Colour Your World, Shoebox Galaţi or Help a Child Go To School Project, and
therefore I am more than pleased to write a letter of recommendation for her.

Since I first met her, Veronica has been highly motivated not only to learn, but also to perform at her
best. She is one of the students I appreciate the most, not only because of the qualities she displays,
but also due to her academic performance and achievements. She is a creative teenager with high
motivation, who would react to any advice or criticism and would acknowledge her weak spots.

Veronica has always proved that any project she is assigned can be a source of inspiration for her.
She has always found those parts in a subject that make it pleasant and interesting, as she did
coordinating Shoebox Galati between 2014 and 2015. Another point to take into consideration is
Veronica’s dedication to whatever she does. She is able to successfully complete multiple tasks with
favourable results despite deadline pressure. Her ambition, her great interest and well-shaped
personality make her a responsible, valuable member of any team.

Veronica has initiative and I must say that giving her best when she really wants to achieve
something is one of her major qualities. Innovative and intelligent, she approaches any task
creatively, from high school projects or exams to dancing. She rises to any challenge without being
afraid of obstacles that might occur and I appreciate her curiosity, her need to learn more, to
discover different aspects and areas of knowledge. Illustrative in this case was the Future Day Job in
2013, when she chose to be a manager for a day.

I must also make note of Veronica’s exceptional academic performance. She had impressive results in
Geography Olympiad, when she achieved the 4th place in the district and she had an impressive
result in a French-German contest, called “Kangaroo Linguist”. In what concerns Romanian literature,
I must add that Veronica Rarinca has shown profound understanding of the issues we tackled, having
the ability to quickly grasp the essence of new ideas and complicated concepts. I personally
examined her and gave her excellent grades.

She is always among the first to volunteer when it comes to helping other people. As the coordinator
of Starfish Volunteering Club and other extracurricular activities, I have observed Veronica getting
involved in activities such as Model United Nations and NATO Conference, where she proudly
represented each country, she was also a responsible volunteer for Help a Child Go To School 2015,
Blind Date with a Book Cultural Project 2014, an important member of Colour Your World
Interdisciplinary Contest 2014 team and the best participant in PhotoVoice contest.

If your programme is seeking superior candidates with a record of achievement, Veronica is an

excellent choice. She is competitive, motivated and creative and would be an important asset for any
programme she would choose to attend.
