Chief Tasks Handled

 Conduct daily tool box meeting with the workers prior to the commencement of work.
 Disseminate EHS Induction to the new workers & employees entering in to the site be-off of
Contractor.
 Carrying out Monthly & Weekly Inspections of Portable Power Tools, Lifting tools ,Tackles
&Equipment, Fire Extinguishers ,etc. and documentation as per Inspection Schedule.
 Reviewing and suggesting for any rectifications in JSA and assisting for permit to work
procedures.
 Preparation of day highlights and circulating to the workers.
 Identifying unsafe acts/unsafe conditions and updating the observations to the client daily and
closing out the issues ASAP.
 Participating in EHS weekly walk through and collecting all the observations from the team and
closing out the issues raised in the walk through meeting.
 Disseminate and Communicate HSE Policy, PTW Procedures, Safe Systems of work
to site personnel which help us to minimize Hazards & Risks to ALARP.
 Provide necessary advice, information and support in the effective implementation of the HSE
Management System requirements and HSE plan.
 Plan and conduct Internal HSE training programs, initiate drive to promote HSE awareness and
performance Carry out HSE inspection of Work Area, Work Method, etc. As per Monthly Activity
Plan.
 Creating HSE awareness through PEP talks daily / Weekly Advising line management in preparing
Identification of Aspects / Impacts / Hazard and Risk Assessment (-HIRA) for the critical
activities.
 Conduct investigation of all accidents / dangerous occurrences & recommend appropriate
corrective measures.
 Advice & co-ordinate for implementation of Work Permit Systems.
 Report to Site Manager on all matters pertaining to status of HSE and promotional programmer
at site level.
 Facilitate screening of workmen and conduct HSE induction.
 Monitoring administration of First Aid and maintaining the First Aid Register
 As for the work activity maintains the Risk assessment, JSA & MSDS.
 Organize campaigns, competitions & other special emphasis programs to promote HSE in the
workplace.
 Register Customer complaints and take corrective action.
Record, analyze and cascade lateral learning points from First Aid Cases, Near Miss Cases &
Safety Man hour Report.
 Accidents to all project personnel and analyze the trends & effectiveness.
 Maintain all OSHAS 18001 & EMS 14001 related documents & Update HSE training record
