I really appreciate the chance to support you all on this! So I'm not sure who exactly the exec team, but I would shy away from putting those words directly in Ilhan’s mouth and repeat the charges. In general I would also lean towards using words like "rumors" rather than “accusations” or "charges" to belittle them. Maybe something for the exec team more like: "A number of baseless, absurd rumors that don't bear repeating have been made recently about my personal life and family. Despite the bes effors of those who wish to divide us and stand in the way of progress, est assured that peity rumors will not distract me from the importa: work that lies ahead,” For the taking points to broader constituents, do you mean coalition rather than collation? And so we're clear, atleast for now. we're thinki tha's just for direct conversation with those who inquire rather than a broadcast statement? Last, on tone, | think we all agree the key is for us to be decisively dismissive, nol at all defensive or explanatory. As hopeful, affirming and unifying as this is to the residents of 60B, itis frightening and challenging to some. We in 60B oppose misogyny, racism, anti-immigration rhetoric and Islamophobia division We in 60B stand together to build a more prosperous and equitable district and state. Jean
