POSITIONS

Criteria and Indicators Maximum Number of Points


A. Introduced any of the following, which has been adopted or used by the
school or district. 20 points

1. Curriculum or Instructional Materials


A. Approved prosposal /write-up/ letter request to introduce the CM or IM signed by SH, 3
PSDS and SDS with date/SY it was approved.
B. Copy of curriculum or instructional material. 3
C. Results of validation, copy of validation instrument used. 3
D. Certification of SHs and teachers who adopted the material(s), duly notarized and with 3
date.
E. Certification or recognition by learning area supervisor. 4
F. Terminal report on the adoption or use of CM of IM. 4
2. Effective teaching techniques or strategies
A. Approved research proposal or completed research supporting effective use ot TT os TS.

B. Copy of lesson plan with date and signature of SH, PSDS, or EPS as having observed
the class when TT or TS was effectively used. 5
C. Results of validation and copy of validation instrument used for TT or TS. 5
D. Certification by SH, PSDS, or EPS that TT or TS was introduced by applicant and
adopted in school/district. 5

3. Simplification of work as in reporting system, record keeping, etc., or


procedures that resulted in cost reduction.
A. Approved proposal/ write-up/ letter request to introduce a method/PPA that simplifies
work with cost reduction signed by SH, PSDS, and SDS. 4
B. Work or action plan supporting simplification of work reporting system and record
keeping with date and SY it was introduced and adopted in school/district. 4
C. School/district or division memorandum supporting use of method /PPA for simplification
of work. 4
D. Terminal report congruent with work or action plan showing use or adoption of method
/PPA and corresponding cost reduction in work. 4
E. Certification by SH, PSDS and corroborated by teachers that method/PPA was adopted
or used. 4

4. A worthwhile income-generating project for the pupils given recognition


by higher officials in the division. (IGP shall have generated at least P
xxx.00)
A. Approved proposal/ write-up/ letter request on IGP. 5
B. Certification by SH, PSDS and other division personnel (IGP coordinator) on utilization of
IGP proceeds for improvement of learning outcomes of pupils. 5
C. Financial statement on IGP proceeds and utilization signed by SH, PSDS or assigned
division personnel. 5
D. Certification by SH, PSDS, or division personnel that IGP was carried out for at least 2
years corroborated by teachers and duly notarized. 5

B. Served as subject or learning area coordinator or grade-level chairman


or adviser of school publication or special interest organization or club. 12 points

1. As subject or learning area coordinator or grade level chairman for at


least 1 year
A. School memorandum or certification on designation as subject area coordinator or grade
level chairman for at least one (1) year with date/SY and signed by SH 3
B. Certification by SH that assignment as subject area coordinator or grade-level chairman
was discharged satisfactorily and such assignment or services are in addition to and not to
considered part of the regular teaching load corroborated by at least five (5) teachers. 3

C. Class or school master program to show teaching loads for SY when assignment was
given. 3
D. Action plan/work plan and terminal reports on implementation of activities and
accomplishment as subject area coordinator or grade-level chairman. 3

2. As adviser of school publication for at least 2 years.


A. School Memorandum or certification on designation as adviser of school publication for
at least two (2) years with date/SY and signed by SH. 2
B. Certification by SH that assignment as adviser of school pubication was discharged
satisfactorily and such assignment or services are in adddition to and not considered part of 2
the regular teaching load corroborated by at least 5 teachers
C. Class or school master program to show teaching loads for SY when assignment was
given. 2
D. Action plan/work plam and terminal reports on implementation of activities and
accomplishment as adviser of school publication. 2
E. Copy of school publication for each year claimed. 4
3. As adviser of special interest organization of club for at least 2 years.
A. School memorandum or certification on designation as adviser of school special interest
organization or club - glee club, dramatic club, science club, etc., for at least two (2) years 3
with date/SY and signed by SH
B. Certification by SH that assignment as adviser of organization or club was discharged
satisfactorily and such assignment or services are in adddition to and not considered part of 3
the regular teaching load corroborated by at least 5 teachers
C. Class or school master program to show teaching loads for SY when assignment was
given. 3
D. Action plan/work plan and terminal reports on implementation of activities and
accomplishment as adviser of school organization or club. 3

C. Served as chairman of a special committee, such as curriculum study


committee; committee to prepare instructional materials; committee to

1. Letter request to conduct research and or approved research proposal signed by SDS.

E.Coordinator of community project or activity or of a program of another

community such as feeding (by another agency), nutrition, agro and 12 points
industrial fairs for at least 2 years.

Community Project/Activity or Program of Another Agency-Immunization, Sponsored Leader Member


Feeding and Nutrition Program, Environmentally Sustainable Cities (ESC), Eco-Friendly
School, National Greening Program (Tree-Planting) , etc.

1. School memorandum signed by SH or certification corroborated by at least 5 teachers on


designation or assignment as coordinator ( or member) of community PPA or that of another 3 1
agency.
2. Action plan or work plan for the PPA of community or another agency 3 2
3. Terminal report on the activities and accomplishments on the conduct of PPA signed by
SH, PSDS, community or agency officials and corroborated by at least 5 teachers. 3 2
4. Certificate of appreciation or recognition by community or agency as coordinator (or
member) of PPA with date and appropriate signatures. 3 2

F. Organized or managed an In-service Activity or other similar activities as least 12 points


on the school level.
Similar Activities - LAC session , training, workshop, team-building, seminar, etc.

designation or assignment to organize or manage INSET, LAC session, workshop, seminar, 3
TB activities, etc.
2. INSET/Activity proposal submitted, signed as approved by SH, PSDS, or SDS containing

3. INSET/Activity report on the conduct of INSET/Activity supported by INSET/Activity
program, attendance sheet of participants, etc. 3
4. Certificate of recognition/commendation signed by SH or PSDS and SDS for having
organized and managed INSET or other similar activities. 3

G. Credited with meritorious achievements such as: 10 Points

1. Trainor of or coach to contestancts who receive prizes, commendations or any form of
recognition:
National Winner - 10 Points
Regional Winner - 5 Points
Division Winner - 3 Points
2. Athletic Coach of athletes or teams who won prozes as follows:
National Winner - 10 Points
Regional Winner - 5 Points
Division Winner - 3 Points
District Winner - 1 Point
3. Coordinator of GSP or BSP activities:
National Level - 10 Points
Regional Level - 5 Points
Provincial Level - 3 Points
District Level - 1 Point
H. Authorship - 10 points for a book and 1 point for each article provided 10 Points
the articles are on education.
Sole Authorship - 10 Points
Co- Authorship - 5 Points
Article - 1 Point per article

Total ( Applicant has to get at least 25 points to become eligible for MT I 100 Points
promotion and 30 points for MT II promotion)+ QS

Demonstration Teaching ( Assessed only if applicant failed to get 25 points for MT


I and 30 points for MT II)
Requirement:
MT I - Applicant earned 15 points or better in leadership and potential
MT II - Applicant earned 20 points or better in leadership and potential.
Claims as demonstration teacher should be supported by:

1. Certificate of Recognition or Commendation as demonstration teaching at district level


(MT I) or division level (MT II) that state exact date when applicant served as demonstration
teacher and curriculum innovation, strategy or intervention introduced, presented or
demonstrated duly signed higher authorities.
2. Copy of lesson plan, classroom observation report, memo of trainign program or activity
when demonstration teaching was conducted duly signed by higher authoritties.
Three (3) or more demonstration teaching episodes - 10 Points
Two (2) demonstration teaching episodes - 7 Points
One (1) demonstration teaching episode - 4 Points

Qualification Standards
MT I
1. Bachelor of Elementary Educaion (BEED) for elementary or Bachelor's Degree plus 18
professional units in Education and 18 units for a Master's Degree in education or its
equivalent.
2. Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) for secondary or Bachelor's Degree plus 18
professional units in Education with appropriate major and 18 units for a Master's Degree in
education ot ist equivalent.
MT II
1. Bachelor of Elementary Educaion (BEED) for elementary or Bachelor's Degree plus 18
professional units in Education and 24 units for a Master's Degree in education or its
equivalent.
2. Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) for secondary or Bachelor's Degree plus 18
professional units in Education with appropriate major and 24 units for a Master's Degree in
education ot ist equivalent.
