DESCRIBING A PERSON

La descripción va de los detalles grandes a los pequeños:


Primero describimos la constitución (BUILD):

heavy build thickset

fat chubby

slight build , tall, short , thin, slim, skinny .

Podemos describer detalles como:

beer belly , broad shoulders , hairy chest ,

long / short / bowed legs.

Nos acercamos y hab lamos de la cabeza: primero el pelo (HAIR):

long short shoulder length


straight , wavy , curly

spiky dreadlocks ...

Seguimos con la cara (FACE):

oval

round square

NOSE

big long short,

upturned

LABIOS (LIPS)
BOCA (MOUTH)
thin thick wide button mouth

OJOS (EYES)

thin thick
eyebrows; unibrow

Al describir a una persona utilizamos los verbos TO BE y TO HAVE:

He is heavy built, tall and fat,


he has a beer belly, long legs, dark, straight, long hair, a long face, a small nose, thin lips and thick eyebrows.

Pasra terminar la descripción hablamos de la ropa (y joyas) que lleva puestsas, utilizando siempre el presente
continuo del verbo TO WEAR:

He’s wearing a T-shirt, a shirt, a sweater, a pullover, a cardigan, a jacket, a coat, ...
trousers, jeans, shorts, overalls, ...
boots, shoes, sport shoes, trainers, sneakers, sandals, ...
a golden ring on his left ear, a piercing on his right eyebrow, a bracelet on his left wrist...

A la izquierda de cada prenda diremos el color y el material si lo sabemos:
