The Book Basic Reasoning in Legal Technique is a well-written
guide for law students to logically analyze law and all that corresponds to it. The book develops the reader’s legal reasoning which is, as defined by Vera Walker, “a tool we use in interpreting constitutions, statutes, and regulations, in balancing fundamental principles and policies, in adopting and modifying legal rules, in applying those rules to cases, in evaluating evidence, and in making ultimate decisions. A skill that is essential in studying law. It is a good learning material for the students to properly identify and scrutinize arguments in a case; and from such arguments, a conclusion is made.
The concepts were explained briefly and concisely which is a
good way for the students to easily understand such concept and not be confused even more with the reasoning that was being explained. The book itself had some sort of relationship with the reader; it was not just stating facts and concepts but was indeed explaining to the readers the application of the concepts mentioned therein.

A thing I noticed with the book, however, is when it comes to
the sources used and cited in the book. Several of the citations were taken from Wikipedia, a source known to be easily edited by any user.
