Cox and kings has a separate wing for csr known as the C&K foundation.

The
emphasis on csr is laid by 6 key activity or the main 6 pillars of csr. They are
education, women empowerment, animal welfare, culture and history
preservation, environment and healthcare.

Education -
1. education and nutritional intervention
C&K Foundation provide a nutritional supplement on a daily basis to 1500
children in small schools of Mumbai. Providing daily meal acts a an incentive
to attract slum children to schools and helps them to attain proper education.

2. Education for the underprivileged

The company believes that no one must lack education due to insufficient
funds, C&K Foundation sponsors schooling for those underprivileged
every year

3. Education, the key to eradicating Poverty

C&K Foundation shares the vision with Parivaar NGO to educate each and
everyone, especially the ones who are vulnerable and are from
marginalised communities

Women Empowerment
1. By the women for the women
C&K Foundation believes in sustainable as well as effective
models that stress upon focused and holistic change.
In cue with the same principle of sustainability, C&K
Foundation aims to develop the skills of underprivileged
women.

2. Project Damini
Project Damini has been jointly executed by Ojus Medical Institute and C&K
Foundation in various slum areas of Mumbai. The objective of the programme is
to empower the illiterate, lesser privileged and drop-out women by building
their entrepreneurship skills. By facilitating Tailoring and Beautician courses,
the Damini project enables the women to earn and sustain their business thus
making them independent.

Animal Welfare
1. rescues : C&K Foundation works with Bombay Municipality Corp. to
rescue animals as well as enabling timely medical assistance to those in
need. In FY 2017-18, the foundation facilitated medical treatment of
10561 animals including dogs, cats, bulls, birds, rabbits.
2. Summer Lifelines: Due to the rising temp. in many parts of india the water
bodies and lake are drying up. so there is less drinkable water for birds
and other animals. Cox & Kings Foundation launched the Summer Lifeline
programme wherein Water tubs are placed at different locations in
Faridabad. More than 57 water tubs are placed so far.
Culture & History Preservation
The Matho Museum Project
In Ladakh, Himalayan art and culture are in a fragile state: the region is currently
undergoing a strong identity crisis due to the effects of globalization. C&K
Foundation aims to exhibit in the handmade building the precious collection of
Buddhist artwork of Matho Monastery. The Museum is being built basis a
sustainable model that is poised to help contribute to the local economy as well

Environment
Saving the environment through Biogas
In the central India, most of the tribal depend on the mangrove forest for their
need of wood fire for cooking food, the leads to deforestation and depletion of
resources. The Biogas plants built by the C&K foundation provide an alternate
source of fuel to tribals relieving them of the dependence of firewood.

Social and Environmental initiatives by Subsidiary Companies

PGL Education division of Holidaybreak introduce a campaign whereby actions
to reduce energy consumption are taken.
PGL have started the move to paperless booking transactions and by 2019
booking confirmations have been sent by email,
Now they are working with W2B (Water to Business) to reduce water
consumption

Healthcare
Cycling for Cancer Awareness
Last year Cox & Kings organised a Cycling event in Delhi to create awareness on
Cancer. To amplify the event's effect, Cox & Kings promised a sum of ₹10 for every
kilometre that the cyclists would cover. The event witnessed an overwhelming
response from adventure enthusiasts

Special therapies to children with multiple disabilities

Cox& Kings Foundation believes in assisting these kids to make them
independent in their daily lives as much as possible. Our association with
Muskan Foundation has brought about an all-round development with the help
of several intervention programmes and therapies.

Clean Drinking Water

In some areas of northern gujarat and rajasthan, the water is extremely saline
and far above WHO permissible limit. The C&K foundation has set up RO
purifying plants in more than 83 schools and reached out more than 8000
people.
