Transportation JHA/Checklist

JHA FOR TRANSPORTATION OF EQUIPMENTS / MATERIALS

 Long materials shall be tied by ratchet
belts/chains of appropriate SWL.
 No loose materials to be kept over the
loaded materials.

 Proper access like ladder to be provided
to reach the vehicle top for locking and
unlocking the materials.
Hit by long objects  The trailers which are using for shifting of Engineer/

 Steel-on-steel is not acceptable, use
wooden sleepers between two materials.

cushioned properly. Visible reflective
stickers or flickering lights shall be
provided for the ends identification.
 Red flag should be installed at the back
end of the trailer.

3. Portable fire extinguishers shall be
provided in the vehicle. Periodical
inspection of the fire extinguisher shall be
carried out.
Adverse weather During heavy rain / wind vehicle shall not run. Engineer/
