WHO WE ARE?

traineeships. Our company has been approved to sponsor suitable and eligible candidates for the
Training Visa.
WHAT IS THE PROGRAM ALL ABOUT?
Under Ausphin’s sponsorship and a Training Visa, offshore/onshore applicants are able to complete a
structured and supervised workplace-based training program in Australia.

• Positions Available: Chef Trainee (Cook, Commis, Demi Chef Pathway)

• Deployment - Across Australia (Predominantly in NSW to various Hospitality Groups and 4 - 5
Star Hotels)
• Length of Paid Training Program: 12 months minimum, up to 24 months
• Salary: According to Australian Award Rate per Industry, minimum $20.00 per hour (awards
may change as per Australian Labour Law).
• Working hours: Minimum 38 hours per week
• On boarding Date: Depending on the visa approval date

WHAT IS THE TYPE OF VISA?

• Training Visa (subclass 407) is simply a temporary visa.

• The Training Visa can only be granted for a training program.
• The training program can only be delivered over a maximum period of up to 2 years.

WHERE IS THE VISA LODGED?

The visa is lodged directly to the Department of Home Affairs Australia, Tasmania
HOW TO QUALIFY?

• Should be at least 18 – 45 years old

• Must have a total of 12 months of experience in the field of Culinary for the past 24 months
• Should be an IELTS Passer (with minimum 4.5 all bands score) OR; Graduate of any Bachelor
Degree course
WHAT ARE THE COSTS?
Ausphin Program Fee: AUD 8,000
Breakdown of Fees:

• Individual Skills Assessment = 1,000 AUD

• Identification of Skills Gap and Preparation of Skills Enhancement Matric = 1,500 AUD
• Development of Individual Training Plan =2,500 AUD
• Assessment and Evaluation of the Training Program = 1,000 AUD
• Skills Gap Training = 1,000 AUD
• Monitoring and Support = 1,000 AUD

Immigration Visa Fee = AUD 1005.62

Breakdown of Fees:

• Visa Application = AUD 396

• Visa Processing and Lodgment Fee = AUD 500
• Health Insurance = AUD 109.62

Department of Immigration and other Vendors
