VOCABULARY

1. Apathy- the feeling of not having much emotion or interest.


Example: People have shown surprising Apathy toward these important social
problems.

2. Oligarchs- a person who belongs to a small group of people who govern or


control a country, business, etc.

3. Distinction- the act of perceiving someone or something as being not the


same and often treating as separate or different.
Example: He was raised in a small town of no distinction.

4. Illuminati- any of various groups claiming special religious enlightenment.

5. Troll- a person who intentionally antagonizes others online by posting


inflammatory, irrelevant, or offensive comments.

6. Norms- an average level of development or achievement.

7. Parliament- the group of people who are responsible for making the laws in
some kinds of government.
Example: Parliament people are had a meeting for upcoming laws.

8. Integral Transformation- s any transform T of the following form: The input


of this transform is a function f, and the output is another function.

9. Paradigm-shift- a fundamental change in approach or underlying assumptions.


Example: The shift from earth to sun as the center of solar system.

10. Cartel- a group of businesses that agree ti fix prices so they will make more
money.
Example: A Cartel of oil-producing nations that controls production and
influences prices.

11. ADKAR- Awareness of the need to change, Desire to support and participate
in the change, Knowledge of how to change, Ability to change, Reinforcement
to sustain the change.
Example: ADKAR remind people to be aware had a desire, ability and
knowledge to make change, of what they saw and what they hear.

12. CIA- (Central Intelligence Agency) is the government organization in the


United States that collects secret information about other countries.
Example: CIA are the capable organization that get secrets information of
the specific country.

13. IMF- (International Monetary Fund) is an international organization


headquartered in Washington, D.C, consisting of 189 countries working to
foster global monetary cooperation secure financial ability.

14. Distorted- to change so that it is no longer true or accurate.


Example: Her face was distorted by pain.

15. Abrupt- characterized by or involving action or change without preparation


or warning.

16. GNP- (Gross National Product) the total value of goods produced and
services provided by a country during one year, equal gross domestic product
plus the net income from foreign investments.

17. Economic Greed- Some believe greed to be positive as it motivates business,


which spurs economic growth. Many others, however, believe greed can go
too far and create unsustainable growth or growth at the expense of social
justice.

18. Happiness Index- is a comprehensive survey instrument that assess


happiness, well-being, and aspects of sustainability and resilience.

19. Matrix- something in which something else develops or form.


Example: the complex social matrix in which people live their lives.
20. TQM- (Total Quality Management) system of management based on the
principle that every staff member must be committed to maintaining high
standards of work in every aspect of a company's operations.
