I went to school for programming and have 54 / 60 credits applied towards an Associate of Arts in Information &
Technology w/ A Concentration in Programming from the University of Phoenix and 12 / 18 credits towards a Java
programming certificate from the University of California / La Jolla (UCSD) . I have a little over a year experience in several
different types of construction assembly (such as counters at mall stores); However, am aiming towards an apprenticeship
in Carpentry, such as roofing. I am educated on the topic of framing, mainly platform construction all the way to roofing
finish. I not only understand how to flash eaves, valleys and install asphalt shingles and roll roofs. However, am also
working on my Real Estate Agency Licensing exam. I plan on taking architecture as far as CAD Autodesk. I have excellent
trigonometry skills for cutting rafters and cripple jacks (it is HUGELY used in programming for various types of painting on
a component or HTML Canvas); however, it will be nice not to have to use a rafter square table and set a distance from
the middle of a ridge according to the rise of the slope.

Many Construction types of positions. The most applicable experience to a Carpentry Apprenticeship was
roofing; most customers seemed to be pretty happy with my novice carpentry skills when working on the roof.

I have a great deal of warehouse experience. It went well. As many employers they stated they liked my work
ethic, and appreciated my hard work on several occasions.

Education
Modern Carpentry
I list this first because it is the book I have been studying from. I am familiar with nailing patterns for floor
joists, or trimmers and studs in framing. And could equate cutting and installing rafters with an expert
carpenter very quickly. Power/Hand Tools, Floor Framing, Wall & Ceiling Framing, Roof Framing and Roof
Finish (Materials) I have a solid knowledge and could begin an apprenticeship immediately.

University of Phoenix
GPA 3.03 (About a 3.5 At UCSD). Please use the professor Troy Brisport(UOP), or Academic Counselor Josh
Connover(UOP) and Kent Yang(UCSD) as references for my education. I can provide a student Auditing Report
(Similar to college transcripts upon request). I plan on incorporating CAD into my repertoire in addition to

becoming at least a Journeyman in Carpentry. Although, it is very verifiable by those who know pretty well I
am pretty easily a genius and likely one of the smartest people you’ll ever meet face to face.
