"DanishTYW I'm painting up a Danish army now--I've found some good


illustrations of Danish infantry, but have not been successful
Cavalry" finding out much about the cavalry.
Do I assume +Danish cavalry followed a German pattern or
Topic Swedish? Any 3/4 armor units?

Full 3/4 armour, not only was thta considered state of the art in
the 1620's but Christian had tons of ready cash on hand with
together with the "favour customer" status extended by the
Dutch meant that his 'personal' part of the army was very well
equipped. The circle troops were a more varied bunch and
probably saw a greater variety of equipment levels in the
ranks. Christian may have helped out with equipment as well
given that the huge deliveries by the Dutch went far beyond
the requirements of his personal troops and those of the
Danish state. (Or it could be that raising new troops after
loosing the old ones in various disasters consumed the Dutch
equipment)
