Good morning, class! Good morning, ma’am!

Today, we’re going to introduce yourselves to your new


classmates, but before that, let me introduce myself first.

I am Mrs. Erna Abainza-Magos, your Mathetics 8 teacher for


school year 2019-2020. I am 25 years old, married and has
one child. So, as your new mathematics teacher, I am
expecting that each one of you will actively participate in every
discussion we have. Do you understand? Yes ma’am!

Do you have questions or clarifications class about myself?

Okay, since you don’t have any questions about me, let’s now
move into your self introduction..
B. Establishing Purpose for the lesson
Class, before we go on to your self-introduction. Let us do it by
pair.

Are you familiar with the word PAIR?

Game Instructions:
1) Each student will find his/her pair.
2) Each student will interview his/her pair.
3) Each pair will provide a piece of paper and write the
answers of his/her partner on it.
4) For 2 minutes, each student will introduce his/her pair in
front of the class.
Task:
To get to know each other.

Lesson Objectives:

2. To identify the content pedagogy of the subject area.
