Description
Admix Epoflex SR is a 100% solids, two-component, semi-rigid epoxy joint filler for use in industrial floors
exposed to forklift traffic.

Main Applications
Designed for filling construction/control joints and cracks in concrete floors in
 Warehouses
 Industrial Plants
 Factories
 Commercial Floors

Advantages and Benefits

 Semi-rigid filler which allows limited movement caused by concrete contraction.
 100% solids, solvent free formula. Will not shrink.
 Excellent adhesion to inner joint walls.
 Protects joints from deterioration and wear from heavy traffic wheels such as forklifts.
 Reduces joint maintenance and repair.
 Suitable for installation in older cracks and joints as well as new floors (28-day cure).

Application Instructions
Surface Preparation
Joint must dry, sound and clean. Remove any loose material and any bond breaker like grease, oil,
curing compounds, mold release agents. Joint faces should have an open texture. When installing in
cracks, route out to a square geometry. Vacuum any dust or foreign material (preferred method to
blowing with compressed air).
Mixing:
Condition material to 18 - 30 °C (65°-85°F) before proceeding. Make sure the air and surface
temperature is above 5°C (40°F). Premix each component separately. Place 1 part by volume of
component B into a clean pail and add 1 part by volume of Component A slowly on top. Mix using a
low speed drill equipped with a Jiffy mixer and paddle. Avoid air entrapment. Scrape sides of pail
and mix until a homogenous, streak free, uniform grey product is achieved. Prepare only enough
product that can be used within the pot life.
Placement
Install Admix Epoflex SR using a low-pressure extrusion equipment, caulking gun or pouring slowly
directly into the joint. Fill joint completely to floor level. Allow product to settle and continue filling
within 1 hour. Joint edges may be taped before product installation. Overfill joint and shave or grind
flush within 24 hours to remove excess material.

Cleaning
Clean tools immediately using xylene, toluene, or similar cleaners while still wet.
