Description
Water based, white pigmented, curing compound based on acrylic resins. Kurad forms a protective
film that provides an effective water retention, allowing adequate hydration with cement particles to
take place. Kurad may reduce plastic shrinkage where properly applied and curing best practices
are employed.

Main Applications
Used to cure concrete in a variety of applications such as interior or exterior commercial, residential, or
industrial flooring, dams, pavements, sidewalks, walls, and parking structures.

Advantages and Benefits

 Retains the moisture inside the concrete  Water based, wax free formula.
 Helps to reduce plastic shrinkage  Ready to use, no need to dilute.
cracking when used properly.  Easy to apply.
 White pigmentation
Application Instructions
1. Mix product gently before use. Do not dilute.
2. Apply Kurad using an industrial sprayer that can produce a fine fog pattern.
3. Cover the fresh concrete surface completely as soon as the surface water has disappeared
(concrete surface is matte).
4. Do not overextend coverage of 200 ft2/gal (4.9 m2/L).

Coverage
Use a maximum coverage of 200 ft2/gallon (4.9 m2 / L). Do not dilute the product to overextend
coverage. Apply to a test area to determine the actual coverage rate before industrial scale
application. Coverage may vary depending on surface texture or finish.

Technical Information
Appearance: milky white liquid
Specific gravity: 1.010 (approx.)

Storage
Store in original, closed container in an indoor, cool (4°C-38°C) dry place for up to 12 months from
date of manufacture.

Precautions and Recommendations

 Saturate the substrate surface 24 hours before and again before placing the concrete.
 Use wind barriers where high wind speed is expected.
 Use Kurad at a maximum coverage rate of 200 ft2/gallon (4.9 m2/L)
 Kurad should not be mixed with other chemicals or admixtures.
 Avoid skin contact for prolonged periods.
 Protect the concrete surface from rain or other water sources at least 2 hours after application.
 Protect from foot traffic at least 7 days after application.
 Shake or mix gently before applying. Avoid excessive mixing or agitation to prevent foaming of the
product.
