Lately, we've had a lot of anniversaries of mass shootings and attempted mass shootings.

Last week marked the anniversaries of the Pulse Nightclub and Congressional Baseball shootings.
Now, this week marks the 4th anniversary of the Charleston AME Church shooting that took the lives of nine
innocent worshippers.

Because of the loophole that allowed the shooter to buy a gun, the current law allows sales to
proceed after three days, even when a background check has not been completed. Because of this
loophole, thousands of guns fall into dangerous hands each year.

We can fix this loophole and save lives. The bill to do just that has already passed the House.
