COMPOSITION OF FUNCTIONS

Definition.
Let 𝑓 and 𝑔 be functions. The composite function, denoted by (𝑓 ∘ 𝑔), is defined by
(𝑓 ∘ 𝑔) (𝑥) = 𝑓(𝑔(𝑥)).
The process of composite function is called function composition.
