Having a healthy lifestyle can be life-changing and exhausting. Healthy is the new happy
around the world today. People see advertisements every day on buses, television screens, and on
the walls of stores. But people love seeing results and how all these benefits come together. Such
as, people feeling good about themselves after a workout or eating right, people can prevent a lot
of injuries, and mothers or teachers teaching and showing the next generation about having a
healthy lifestyle.
One of the most benefits of having a healthy lifestyle is injury prevention. Most people
when they go to the gym do not know how to have the right technique, so they end up hurting
themselves. For example, people can hurt their backs if they do not have their backs straight
when picking up a heavy weight. Another injury prevention is not drinking or eating enough
potassium. From my own experience, I did not eat a banana or drink a lot of water before
practice, so during practice, my calf cramped. That is why people need potassium in their bodies
before working out. Lastly, people tend to stretch only before a workout. That is good because
people need to loosen their muscles, but it can also be bad if you only stretch before and not
after. People need to stretch before and after a workout because they do not realize that their
muscles tighten up. If they do not stretch properly during exercise, people will increase tightness
lifestyle is losing weight. Many people lose weight to make them feel good about themselves.
Losing weight puts people in a better mood. For example, if people have low glycemic foods in
their bodies such as oatmeal, peas, sweet potatoes, and fruits, their mood improves 75 percent of
the time. But if people have high glycemic foods in their bodies such as white bread, short-grain
rice, and donuts, they have more depression and fatigue. Losing weight not only puts people in a
better mood, losing weight reduces the risk of chronic conditions. According to Cleveland Clinic,
reducing weight to within normal limits can significantly reduce the risk of heart disease and
improve overall health. For example, people who are overweight for their body type have more
of a risk to develop heart disease. But if people lose, even just a little bit of weight, they would
reduce having the risk of heart disease in the future. Lastly, losing weight can make people feel
good about themselves and reduce heart disease, but losing weight can also improve people's
memory. For example, if people eat right and exercise every day, it will prevent them from

the health of the next generation? The health of the next generation is what people need to start
thinking about when they feed their children. When children have meals at home, they do not
realize they are eating healthy. For example, children eat more vegetables and less sugary foods
at home than their peers who eat at home less frequently. Not only do parents need to start
thinking about the next generation, but they also need to start thinking about teaching their
children how to garden and cook. For example, children who participate in gardening or cooking
are likely to make healthful dietary and lifestyle choices growing up. Lastly, parents and teachers
need to teach their children the importance of eating healthy and exercising every day. For
example, if a child exercises every day for an hour for two weeks while eating healthy, that child
will see improvements in their healthier body. Children will not only see healthier in their bodies
but in their mood and skin. The health of the next generation needs to be focused on.
People love seeing results and how these benefits and other different benefits come together
when they see it in their bodies and moods. But having benefits like these- preventing injuries,
people feeling good about themselves, teaching children about healthy living, can make this
