Usamos el presente simple para hablar de hábitos, situaciones permanentes o verdades generales. La mayoría
de los verbos tienen dos formas en el presente simple que se basan en el infinitivo:
infinitive to eat
I / you / we / they eat
he / she / it eats
Para la tercera persona del singular de la mayoría de los verbos, simplemente agregamos -s al infinitivo:
para hacer que hace
leer ella lee
comerlo come
to make he makes
to read she reads
to eat it eats
Para los verbos que terminan en -s, -x, -sh o -ch, agregamos -es:
to watch he watches
to go it goes
to mix she mixes
to wash he washes
estudiar estudia
para responder ella responde
Algunos verbos son irregulares:
to study he studies
to reply she replies
Some verbs are irregular:

Cuando hablamos de una ocupación o profesión, generalmente usamos el artículo indefinido a / an.
infinitive to eat
