The technological transition in the globe has seen most businesses change from their

normal way of doing business because people are now embracing better avenues. The beauty

and cosmetic field has not been left out in these new developments since the merchants have

to ensure that they are updated with the current state of the market and exact products that

consumers are looking for (Aleksandra, 2013). Most women are known for being choosy on

their dress code talk less of what they put on as make up. This segment of beauty (make up)

is diverse thus it has variety that come hand in with different prices (Leonard, 2010). We

have different price tags for the makeup commodities depending on the quality and quantity.

Furthermore, there is a fee charge for any beautician that executes this duty (Barbalova,

2011). This is the reason why we have seen it fit to come up with an application that can

assist the ladies on the type of makeup they should put and how best they can apply it. This

paper shall be discussing an application by the name makeup assist that is meant to give

legitimate advice to the customers on how they can apply their makeup and so on.

The nature of this application has briefly been mentioned in the introduction and its

major aim has been made categorical. The application aims at assisting ladies especially the

young ones to understand what type of makeup they should put on and there also guides on

how these procedures are executed. Makeup assist is made up of a comprehensive data of

cosmetics in the globe thus anyone can trace the kind of makeup she wants to use. It has a

unique feature that enables an individual to chat with any other user across the globe so long

as they utilize the same app. This platform enables the users to exchange ideas concerning

different set of body oils and makeup that make a woman beautiful. Therefore, this app will

work towards bringing people of common minds together and also allows them share

information concerning what they know and do not know about the subject matter.

This informs the new users especially teenagers about the pros and cons of certain

brands thus if there is a risk of negative reaction the client will be able to resist the counterfeit

potential businesses partners that might be sharing the same thoughts and this might be life

Apart from having a communication platform, the application shall provide guidelines

(Leonard, 2010). It has been long since consumers were put in the know how about what they

purchase in the cosmetic shops and malls. The application is structured towards bringing a

solution and not becoming a profit generator that many would shy away from using. There is

a section that clients will take a selfie of themselves and the application will be able to

process suitable makeup and cosmetics for the skin colour and type. This level of advanced

technology helps the client not to make a mistake by selecting a makeup combination that

does not match the skin colour because it might work badly for the user (Barbalova, 2011).

The side effects include of using wrong makeup include; having black or red spots on the

face and severe san bans. Therefore, this application will reduce this risk since people can

easily decide what to use by taking a photo their faces which tell the skin colour.

The climax of it all is that the application has a computerized instructor that can be

used when using the phone as a mirror while the selfie camera is on. The computerized guide

is meant to scan through the consumers face and guide her on what she is going to do with

eye lashes, lip stick, lip balm or any other makeup component. Therefore, once a girl faces

the selfie camera and goes for the button named makeup instructions and suggestions, she

will be good to go because this will save time and deliver quality work. The extra-ordinary

aspect about the application is that it gives the individual valid instructions since it can see

the face from a computer perspective thus everything suggested will be legitimate because

the physical scan is better than looking at someone closely through the human eye whereas

this method can be put in place to achieve the same objective (Leonard, 2010). Tests on the

use of this application have been conducted on a sample population of ten and all of them

went through the process successfully and none has recorded any case of side effects basing

on the manner and commodities that were used to make this a success. This application shall

help people save the trouble of running after friends and relatives inquiring about what can be

done or rather what can improve their facial state. Like mentioned earlier, women are

cautious about how they look thus the reason they spend many hours trying to put their things

together without involving any third party unless it is the spouse or the lover. Positive

comments about how the person looks like will be sourced out from the application after the

users do a review of the concluded process. Clients can also take heed to the positive

comments that are written after uploading the image in the application’s communication

platform because it encourages the client gives. This approach is effective and it boosts the

self esteem of an individual since it reminds them of being the best even though a few people

may think otherwise.

Competition in the cosmetic field is at its pick but unfortunately investors are not

suggesting better ideas that may up their game in the global market (Aleksandra, 2013).

Companies that make smart phones have come up with peculiar phone applications such as

Snap Chat and You Cam that are used to produce filtered photos that are processed from the

original image. No cosmetic company has thought of coming up with an application such as

Makeup assist that will provide convenience to many ladies that take time to make decisions

on the type of makeup they are going to apply. These phone applications only change the

original look of a taken picture but nothing is done about the original face of the client. This

is what has led to a world that is full of fallacy because most people do not actually look the

same as what most people view in their public profile pictures on social media (Aleksandra,

2013). Therefore, makeup assist is following a route that it will take quite some time for other

companies to follow suit since none has thought of providing better and standardized

services. The company plans to set up a higher target that other companies shall struggle to

reach so that every individual erases the common mentality of always wanting to develop

body jellies and foundation makeup whereas we have a group that do not understand what

type of makeup they should put on but makeup assist has come to their beauty rescue.

Conclusion

Technology is best effective when it develops beyond limits thus it is not wise to

think or suggest that an idea is impossible because there is no harm in trying (Leonard, 2010).

Certain groups may suggest that such an application is too complex to come up with but it

takes time and commitment to bring significant transformation not only to the society but also

the whole world. The implementation of this idea will mark a new dawn in the field of beauty

and valuable results shall be achieved within a short period of time.
