BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

The author was born on 23rd of November 1997 at Sitio Catama, Barangay Ilian,

Dumaran, Palawan. He is the fifth among the 6 siblings of Mr. Edmundo L. Felizarte and

Mrs. Rosina O. Felizarte.

He graduated his primary education in Catama Elementary School at Sitio

Catama, Barangay Ilian, Dumaran, Palawan as First Honorable Mention and completed

his secondary education at Catama National High Scchool at Sitio Catama, Barangay

Ilian, Dumaran, Palawan and awarded as First Honorable Mention. He used to be

hardworking and responsible as he was elected as an officer ever since his primary level

up to now.

He is very passionate about in everything he does, even in a small thing that’s

why he was able to gained a lot of friends. If he has a spare time, he used to watch

movies, specifically Korean movies with subtitles.

He is now currently studying at Western Philippines University Puerto Princesa

Campus taking up Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Financial

Management and an officer of Organization of Business Administration Student. And

aims to finished his degree.

BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

The author was born at Sto. Malinao, Brgy. Libertad, Taytay, Palawan on

February 04, 1997. She is the 9th daughter among the ten (10) children of Mr. Romeo P.

Solomon Sr. and Florcita A. Solomon.

She finished her elementary education at Libertad Elementary School. Thereafter,

she successfully finished secondary education at Northern Palawan Christian Institute.

Currently, she is trustworthy, respectful, hard working and willing to learn. One of the

greatest blessings she had received was when she was granted scholarship in college

because through this she was given the opportunity to continue her studies in college.

Presently, she is taking up Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major

in Marketing Management at Western Philippines University Puerto Princesa City

Campus and she is now one of the graduating students of Batch 2018-2019. She wanted

to be successful woman who has her own business and at the same time being Hands on

mom and wife to her family by the grace of Almighty God.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND JOB PERFORMANCE OF LGU
EMPLOYEES IN TAYTAY PALAWAN.

Adviser: DR. LOURDES S. ARCILLA

This study entitled “Working Environment and Job Performance of LGU

Employees in Taytay Palawan” was conducted on November 2018 to determine the

working environment and job performance of LGU employees in Taytay Palawan.

Specifically, this study aimed to (1) describe the profiles of the respondent; (2)

determined the facilities and equipment; (3) determine the working environment in terms

of Physical Facilities, Office Equipment, Office Supplies and Materials, and Personal

Relation Relative to Task Performance; (4) assess the level of job performance of the

respondents; (5) determine the relationship between the working environment and job

performance of the respondents.

Using descriptive and co-relational survey research design with qualitative and

quantitative data support, data were obtained with the survey questionnaire as the main

instrument administered by the researcher to eighty (80) employees that were chosen in

different departments. Data gathered were analyzed and interpreted using frequency

counts, percentages, means, Z test and Pearson R

Result shows that majority of the respondents were 21-26 years old, female,

single, college graduate, permanent, a family income from salaries ranging from Php11,

000 to Php30, 000.


Facilities and equipment in the working area are provided except the cafeteria.

Moreover, the working environment in terms of physical facilities and office

equipments and office supplies and materials are available, while actions/conditions

relative to personal relation in task performance were always available and the

respondents had very satisfactory job performance.

There is a significant relationship between the working environment and job

performance of the employees in terms of facilities, equipment, and personal relation

relative to task performance while in supplies and materials they were not significant.
