1 Executive Summary
This section describes the executive summary of our project. It includes the opportunity and
expectations of our company

1.1 Problem statement


As visitors of hajj are increasing yearly by 5%. Mostly are visiting for the first time, this in result
made them lost. So, it is difficult to find the friend/group member because millions of people are there
to perform hajj. They face communication problem to find the lost /disoriented friend. So, the
problem arise in our mind is that how to find the disoriented/lost friend in hajj and how to
communicate to find the current location of group member.

1.2 Solution to the Problem


Keeping the problem in mind it is proposed that number of pilgrims increasing every year. Millions of
people are there to perform hajj. They face a lot of problem when they perform hajj. During hajj when
pilgrim is separated from group member it is difficult to find them so we find a solution for him which
fully guides him to find the lost/separated friend. They can find the current location of lost group
member. They can communicate with group member through this application. They can chat, voice
call and video call to each other. The current location of user saves in firebase to find
disoriented/separated friend
.

1.3 Market
The target market will be obviously the haji that uses this app performing hajj. We will extend our
work for the people performing umrah In future but for being our focus on people performing hajj.

1.4 Competition
what we have studied so far, our competitors are these.

1. Madina locator and hajj GPS maps: This application will guide the new visitors which perform
hajj and umrah easily for all Muslims in the world

2. Mina locator: With the help of this application we can identify the way to different camps
(maktab), train station, mosques, hospitals, slaughter house and other important holy places in
mina
3. Umrah and hajj guide: This application gives him a complete introduction and guidance for
pilgrims.
4. Tracking and identification of pilgrim in hajj.

The all competitors are applications in fact, which not focuses on providing these features (chat,
voice call, and real time location of friend or family members) in the applications for pilgrims.

2 Marketing plan

2.1 Product
We will be providing the product named as “haji locator app”. In this app, to find and
communicate with their family and group members easily when they get loss their group during
hustle and bustle in hajj.

2.1.1 Features
 Maps
o Provides maps within the application. Show friend and family members with their
name on map. By this they can easily locate member real time location.
 Communication
o We can communicate easily in hustle and bustle during hajj to communicate with
group members we can communicate through the text message, voice call , video call
(optional)
 Registration
o The user will send request to the member to add in circle. User will wait to response
from the admin (user). When admin receive request from user, the admin will add in
the circle.

 Easy to find the real time location of friend
 Real time location will help the user to find the location of friends or family member.

We will offer the service using direct distribution channel. E.g. using Appstore
We provide our application in” play store” that is easy for android smartphone user to install it
easily.

We do not think that location is important for the customers. We will be providing services for
the pilgrims that perform hajj, so our Application will be served from the home.

2.5 Pricing
At the start, we are aiming to offer free service to the pilgrims. And we are depending solely on
the earning from the advertisement.

2.6 Promotion and Advertising


We will use the Facebook and twitter platforms for promoting our Application. Also, we will
use the custom ads focused on promoting the Applications with the help of Google AdSense.

3 Organizational plan
The owners are Hamza Farooq and Kamran Amin. Both share 50% of revenue and expenses.

3.1 Company’s structure


The company structure will be partnership. The partners are Hamza Farooq and Kamran Amin
