All About Clouds

FREEBIE!

created by
The Upside of Teaching
Thanks for downloading this freebie! I love teaching my students about clouds every year. They’ve
all had the experience of finding different cloud shapes in the sky, and are fascinated to learn
about different types of clouds and the weather they predict.
This product focuses on cirrus, stratus, cumulus, and cumulonimbus clouds.

These sheets are part of my larger “All About Clouds” science packet. If you find this freebie
helpful, check out the bigger product. It includes 5 activities for learning about clouds.

Contents:
•  K-W-Ls (one with writing lines, one without)
•  QR codes for cloud research- 5 codes for each of the 4 cloud types (I cut and laminate them,
and put them on book rings)
•  Recording sheets and answer keys for information learned from the research
•  A list of the sites used for the QR codes
•  4 cloud jigsaw puzzles- one for each cloud type
•  Cloud sort and answer key
•  An interactive journal entry/foldable
•  Additional lesson ideas

Thanks again!
