Purpose

The purpose of this proposal is to create a position that will increase the numbers
and sales across each branch in the market. The more in-depth conversations and
sales that are done will increase profits for the bank. This proposal will identify
the immediate problems the market is facing with the sales, and conversation
portion.

Current Problem
Currently each branch manager is responsible for their own sales goals along with
the team. Each branch manager is to make sure all campaign information is
relayed to the team. Then they are to make sure all their goals are being met.
That each interaction they have with customers is one they are using to the full
potential. Making sure we are reaching the customers goals and looking for any
missed opportunity. They are responsible to coach each one of their team
members. Making sure that they are making their own personal goals along with
making sure each team member is hitting theirs. They are to make sure all offers
the bank is putting out are known and being expressed to the customers. They are
also responsible for making sure call lists are disbursed and scrubbed.

Proposed Solution
To solve this problem, I propose that a new position be created to alleviate
the daily stress on the branch manager. This position will be a sales coach. They
will act as a support to each branch manager and the market. They will coach
each banker once a week along with the manager. They can disburse the lead lists
and scrub them making sure they are good to go. This position can make sure
every offer that the bank has is expressed to the team members in the market.
They can then collect marketing material and tools for the bankers to use to have
in-depth conversations with each customer. The added help would make sure
that each banker is getting the needed attention and the manager can focus on
hitting the goals. By each branch hitting the goals this in return increases the
numbers for the market. This increases profit for the bank. The suggested annual
salary for this new position, based on similar annual salaries reported
on Careerbuilder.com, would start at $60,000 and max out at $75,000. They
would be offered health benefits and paid vacation time. I believe this new
position would play a vital role in increasing the sales and financial conversations
we have with our customers. The sales coach can present any changes taking
place and keep up with market rate changes. This will help with the stress and
moral of each branch.

Conclusion
This position is needed for the market to hit the numbers that have been given. It
will be an asset to the entire market. The position will increase sales numbers and
boost the confidence of each employee who is face to face with our customer
base. The biggest asset a bank has is their customers. We want to make sure we
are putting out best foot forward. I think by creating this position we are doing
just that. We are making sure everyone is knowledgeable about all offers and
ready to help our customers will all financial goals. In return this will increase the
sales and profit of the bank.
