Learning Objectives By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:
i. demonstrate understanding of information in a conversation by answering 4
out of 5 MCQ’s questions
ii. identify the missing information from the conversation by filling in the 5 out
of 7 blanks accurately
iii. tell the meaning of unfamiliar words through context clues
Success criteria Pupils can listen to a conversation and answer MCQ’s correctly,
fill in the blanks with information from the dialogue and guess the meaning of unfamiliar
words through context clues
Learning Outline Pre- Lesson :
1. Pupils talk about how often and where they go shopping.
For example: When and where they go shopping in a month? (Brainstorm)

2. Pupils click the link.

3. Pupils listen to the conversation by pressing the play button. They choose the correct
answers of the 5 MCQ’s and press the final score.
4. Pupils listen to the recording again. Then, they write the words they hear in the correct
blank. Self checking their score.
5. Rally Robin activity. Pupil A will tell a word while pupil B guess its meaning.

Post-Lesson:
6. With a partner, pupils plan on a particular item they want to buy like a camera,
computer, or book.
7. Then, they use the Internet and try to find the items they want to buy considering
price, shipping costs, return policy, and time for delivery.
