A Detailed Lesson Plan in Teaching Kindergarten

Science

I. Objectives:
With the aid of some real objects and IM’s pupils should be able to attain at least
75% level of accuracy on the following skills within 60 minutes period:

1. identify the different kinds of air transportation;


2. assemble the given pictures of different kinds of air transportation;
3. appreciate the importance of air transportation.

highways or railways.”

followed which I commonly called

2. Motivation
2.1 New Lesson

(The teacher will present a different kind of


air transportation pictures. And ask the
pupils to make an airplane paper
afterwards.)

“I have here a different kind of pictures


class. All you have to do is identity or name
the picture of what it is.”

“Let’s have four claps for ourselves 1, 2, 3,

“Okay class! I have here another set of


colorful paper. My question is. Do you
know how to make an airplane paper?” “Yes Teacher!”

“Very Good! Because we will be making an


airplane paper together. And were going to
make it fly in the air.”

“Are you ready?” “Yes we are ready teacher.”

“Very Good!” ( Pupils making airplane paper and make it


fly to the air )

3. Presentation

(The teacher will going to present the new


lesson.)

“Our topic this day class is all about the Air


Transportation.”
4. Discussion

“When you hear about the word ( Pupils raise their hands )
transportation class what comes in your
mind? Anyone?”

“Yes Princess. “ “It involves vehicles that travel on air.”


“That’s correct! Very God!”

“Air transportation is the fastest and yes


most expensive means of transport
travelled through air of course.”

“Remember class that there are different


kinds of air transportation.”

“Do you remember the pictures that I’ve


shown to you a while ago and the paper
plane that we make and make it fly?” “Yes Teacher!”

“Can you give the list of the name on it?” “Airplane, Helicopter, Hot air balloon, Jet
plane and Spaceship teacher.”
“Very Good class!”

Airplane- is fixed-wing aircraft that are


propelled through the air by engines. They
are used for transportation.

Helicopter- is a type of aircraft that uses


rotating, or spinning, wings called blades
to fly and has wings that move.

Hot air balloon- a hot air balloon consists


of a bag called the envelope that is
capable of containing heated air.

Jet plane- a jet aircraft (or simply jet) is


an aircraft (nearly always a fixed-
wing aircraft) propelled by jet engines.
