 冬则温，夏则清；沉则省，昏则定。
如果天气寒冷，要帮父母先暖热床铺，备好被单。
如果天气炎热，要帮父母把床扇凉，驱赶蚊子。
每天早晨起身要向父母问安，晚上睡觉前要让父
母睡得安宁。
During cold weather, warm the bed and get ready blankets for our parents. When
the weather is warm, fan to cool the bed for them and get rid of mosquitoes.
Greet our parents in the morning daily. Before going to bed, ensure that they are
comfortable for a
good night’s sleep.

亲爱我，孝何难；亲憎我，孝方贤。
父母喜爱我，我来孝顺他们，这是不难做的事。
如果父母不喜欢我，而我仍然很孝顺他们，
 这就更加能可贵，可称得上是贤良的孝子。
It is easy to be filial to parents who are loving.
Should our parents be unfair to us, we should
continue to be filial to them for filial piety is a
great virtue.

兄道友，弟道恭；兄弟睦，孝在中。
做兄长的要友爱弟妹，做弟妹的则应该恭敬兄长。
如果兄弟姐妹能和睦相处，不用父母操心，
这也是尽了孝道。
Elder brothers must love and care for their
younger siblings.
In return, the younger ones should show respect
 to their elders.
If brothers can live in harmony, they have
already fulfilled the responsibility of being filial.

事诸父，如事父；事诸兄，如事兄。
对待伯父，叔父或舅父，应该像对待自己的父亲
一样地恭敬。
对待堂兄，表兄或姻兄时,应该像对待自己的胞兄
一样地有礼。
We must respect our uncles as
we respect our father.
We must be respectful and courteous to our cousin
brothers just as we would treat our own brothers.
 晨必盥，兼漱口；便溺回，辄净手。
每天早晨起身后，一定要洗脸、刷牙和漱口。
每次大小便后，一定要马上洗手，
养成良好的卫生习惯。
Every morning, immediately
after we rouse from sleep,
we should get up and clean up.
Always pay special attention to personal hygiene.
We must wash our hands
after every visit to the toilet.
步从容，立端正；揖深园，拜恭敬。
走路时步伐要从容自然，不慌不忙；
 站立时姿态要端正，不可左右摇动身体。
行礼鞠躬是要弯下腰，态度诚恳，叩拜时要恭恭敬敬。
Always walk at a natural and comfortable pace.
When standing, be erect and do not slouch.
When bowing , bow from the waist.
When greeting others, do it with great sincerity.

用人物，须明求；倘不问，即为偷。
如果要使用别人的东西，必须要先向主人
当面作出请求。
如果没有问过就拿来用，即使有归还，
但这种行为就像小偷。
 Ask permission to use another’s
belongings.
Otherwise you will be considered a thief.
借人物，及时还；后有急，借不难。
借用别人的东西，用过之后，
要立刻还给对方。
以后若有急用，再借不难。
We must remember to return borrowed
items as soon as we have finished using
it. It will make it easy for us
 to borrow again.

凡是人，皆需爱；天同覆，地同载。
只要是人，不管是什么种族、宗教信仰，
都必须相亲相爱，互相关怀。
就好象天地平等地包容和承受我们，
让我们可以不分彼此地共同生活。

 读书法，有三到；心眼口，信皆要。
要把书读好，有“三到”配合的好办法，
三者不可缺一。
第一就是心到；第二就是眼到；第三就是口到，

Firstly is to focus the mind, secondly, to keep our
eyes on what we are reading, thirdly, to ask when
we fail to understand,

房室清，墙壁净；几案洁，笔砚正。
书房要保持清静，墙壁也要保持干净。
书桌要保持整洁，纸笔和墨砚等文具
 要放端正。

Free the desk of all clutter and make sure
that the pen and ink are well placed.

非圣书，屏勿视；蔽聪明，坏心志。
不是优良有益的书，别去阅读或接受。
看不正经的书，会破坏我们的思想和才智，
使品行和意志力败坏。
Read only books of good content. Do not waste
time on those which are indecent and of dubious
writing.
Books of indecent content will leave us confused
and blur the thinking. A corrupt and defiled mind
will weaken the will to be moral.

勿自暴，勿自弃；圣与贤，可循至。
不要自我槽踏，不要看轻自己，不求上进，
自甘堕落。
只要我们肯努力，一定可以一步步地成为
有品德和贤良的人。
We should never ill treat or look down on ourselves.
Do not stop learning so as to progress further. Do
not give in to vices.
So long as we are willing to work hard, we will turn
out to be a moral and competent person.

孝顺父母,

嘘寒问暖,请安好。
回报父母时......
父母疼爱,
孝顺不难。
手足相处时......
互相友爱，
和睦相处。

 必恭必敬，
以礼相待。
起床如厕时......
清洗干净，
保持卫生。
站立行走时......
从容自然，
姿势端正。
借用东西时......
有物要借，
当面请求。
借用东西，尽快归还。
有借有还，再借不难。
对待人时......
胸怀宽大，
博爱人类。
予取食物时......
 拿人东西，
应该节制。
读书进修时......
遵守三到，
日子有功。
保持环境时......
勤于清理，
井井有条。
选择读物时......
注重内容，
 只读好书。
求学的态度......
天天努力,
盼出人头地。
