I. What is a cement blanket?


The cement blanket is a soft cloth impregnated with cement. It will harden when it meets water.

The cement blanket is made of a 3D fibre matrix woven from polyethylene and polypropylene filaments and contains
a specially formulated dry concrete mix. The main chemical components of calcium aluminate cement are AI203, CaO,

completely waterproof. When on-site construction, no concrete mixing equipment is needed on site, as long as it is

10 mm, 30 mm.

3) Environmentally friendly
Cement blankets are a low-carbon technology that, in many applications, uses up to 95% less material than
conventional concrete. Its alkali content is limited and the flushing rate is very low, so the impact on the local
ecology is small.
4) Application flexibility
The cement blanket has good drapability and can conform to the complex shape of the surface of the covered
object, even forming a hyperboloid shape. The cement blanket before solidification can be cut or cut at will by
ordinary hand tools.
5) Material strength

2) Solidification time
Initial solidification is greater than or equal to 120 minutes; final solidification time is ≤ 240 minutes.
The cement blanket can reach 80% strength 24 hours after the hydration reaction.
3) Hydration reaction
The cement blanket can be hydrated with brine or non-salt water. The minimum weight ratio of water to cement
blanket is 1:2. The cement blanket does not undergo an excessive hydration reaction, so it is always
recommended to use an excess of water.
Water can be sprayed several times on the surface of the fiber until the cement blanket reaches saturation.
Because the cement blanket absorbs moisture, the color first darkens and then becomes lighter. When the water
accumulates on the surface or flows down, it indicates that the cement blanket has saturated water.

After the initial hydration reaction, the cement blanket should be re-watered at least once between one and two
hours. This is especially true in hot, dry weather because evaporation of water can cause excessive drying of the
concrete.
Product HJ008 Cement blanket is the most prone to over-drying. No matter what the weather, one to two hours
after the hydration reaction, it should be re-watered one or more times.
Never spray water directly onto the concrete blanket with a high-pressure water spray gun, otherwise the

protected by water, solidification will be delayed and the strength of the material will decrease. If the
solidification time is delayed, it should be re-watered with a large amount of water. The cement blanket can be

IV. Laying construction


1) preparation work

2) Excavation

compaction treatment, or grouting and reinforced to seal, and the treated parts are required to have good
stability!

4) Seam treatment
