Title: Analyzing the performance of future cellular networks in terms of Adaptive

Study Area Review: Telecommunications
Aims: To analyze the performance of future cellular networks in terms of
Adaptive algorithms using MATLAB simulation.
Objectives:

Following are the research objectives of the project

• To analyse the concept of Future cellular networks and the role of Adaptive
algorithms.
• To prepare the literature review on the existing performance evaluation
techniques across cellular networks and their limitations.
• To design Adaptive algorithm that can be used to analyse the performance
of future cellular networks.
• To compare the performance of a Gaussian signal i.e. the signal
transmitted directly to the destination and the signal transmitted using the
Adaptive Filters at the relay
• To simulate the proposed system in MATLAB and document the
observations
Deliverables:
Following are the deliverables of this project

• Literature review on existing performance evaluation methods across

future cellular networks and document their limitations.
• Adaptive algorithm that can be used for better performance evaluation of
cellular networks
• Comparison results of Gaussian signals and Adaptive filter based signals.
• Design steps of the application
• MATLAB based simulation that can demonstrate the application practically
• Practical results and observations

Project Type:
This is both research and development project, where I will do some basic
research on existing performance evaluation of cellular networks methods and
develop the proposed algorithm
Professional Project Claim

This project emphasises design and evaluates a MATLAB based system using
appropriate processes and tools, as follows

Hardware Requirements:

• System : Pentium IV 2.4 GHz.

• Hard Disk : 40 GB.
• Ram : 512 Mb.
 Software Requirements:

• Simulation tool : - MATLAB 7.4

My product will exhibit the attributes of quality, reliability, timeliness and
maintainability in the following ways

• An appropriate project plan is build to facilitate the application to

continue an stringent timelines
• Standard templates are prepared for the documentation to enhance the
worth of literature review and document
• The best practices and standards of MATLAB coding are being applied to
warrant the quality of coding.
• To prove the reliability of the application a type of prototype software
is developed
• To provide the quality product several levels of testing will be done

Research Methodology:

I will make use of both qualitative and quantitative methods of research to

develop this application. I will gather the primary data regarding visual
information and visual cryptography using qualitative techniques and develop the
proposed system using quantitative methods.
Resources Audit:

I will refer different academic articles, journals and IEEE transactions to develop
the proposed application.
