 Introduction
We have established an organization by the name of “Green Hills Foundation”. The
purpose of this organization is to promote the research activities in the country. As we know
that the student with quality education & research minds can change the present scenario of the
world. Therefore to fulfill and achieve our goal we have inaugurated Green Hills Science
College under the super-vision of the Green Hills Foundation.

Green Hills Science College offers regular admission in the domain of Pre-Medical &
Pre- Engineering. Besides that, Green Hills Science College recently started three other
projects for the wellbeing of the students who are interested in Medical & Engineering Field.

Project I: GIPS (Green Hills Institute of Premier Studies)

Project II: GHSA (Green Hills Science Academy)

Project III: PSSE (Preparation for Secondary Supplementary Examination)

GIPS
Green Hills Institute of Premier Studies is recently launched to help out the students in
the preparation for the admission test in Medical Colleges, Engineering Universities and many
other institutes of professional Education.

Invitation:

We cordially invite the students from all over Pakistan & AJK to step in “GHSC” to
mold their mind for the attainment of success in entrance test and to satiate their staunch thirst
for knowledge from the extensive erudition of the experienced pedagogues, in an enchanted,
heaven like and memorizing atmosphere of Kashmir.

 Foreword
GIPS MCAT Biology (1st Edition) is a MCQs book for entrance test preparation.
Authors and the reviewers of the book have put together their efforts to provide the best
guideline to the aspirants for the MCAT. The book is only a guideline and has no proximity
with the actual entrance test.

This book includes MCQs of various natures which may help the students to check both
their knowledge and concepts.

During preparation of MCQs intense care has been taken not to trespass the prescribed
syllabus of UHS for session 2014.

The MCQs of past UHS papers have asked orally from different past students, and are
not collected from any trusted source. At various points, we added option from ourselves. A
great effort has made to provide the students an idea about the nature of entrance test paper of
UHS.

The MCQs have arranged chapter-wise with answers at the end of each chapter. We
have taken great care to make the book error free. Yet authors of the book cannot be held
responsible for any printing, topographical or other mistake.

There is always scope for further improvement in every field of academic life. We will
welcome every constructive criticism and would make room for adjustment and modification
in the pointed out MCQs in the future.
