economy and the environment. Thus, business should build a positive relationship with the
society as a whole in which they operate and should not only focus on maximizing profit
as its main goal.

Local Economic Contribution of the Business

Body Works Fitness Gym will offer personal training services as well as having a
dance practice at the dance studio. The success of establishing our business would help the
people of Tanauan, Leyte to promote self-consciousness and healthy lifestyle that they
should physically build themselves up to prevent certain diseases and ailments and for them
to boost up their confidence and self-esteem.

Government Benefits

Businesses in every country have a big contribution to its government. The

government derived benefits from this project through collection of licenses, and
registration of business fees and payment of annual taxes. Employment provided by this
business will have a positive impact to the country’s economic status by reducing the rate
of unemployment and underemployment. Moreover, the involvement of the business in the
corporate world will contribute to the country’s Gross Domestic Production which is the
benefit of the economy.

Poverty is one of the major problems that our country faces today. One of the causes
of poverty is the fast-increasing number of unemployed Filipinos. The support of the
government is not enough to lessen the issue of unemployment. Body Works Fitness Gym
will help alleviate unemployment problem by providing job opportunities to the people,
most especially to the citizens of Leyte.

I am going to recruit, employ and train employees in order for them to perform the
jobs required to them. We are looking forward to help the province of Leyte and the
government in maximizing our human resources.

My company also aims to give emphasis on how workers will attain new skills
through trainings and how they could apply it to their independent living, their preparation
for works and maintaining a genuine employment.

Consumers

Excellent quality service and good ambiance fitness gym are assured by the
company to its customers for they are the reason of the existence of the business. The
business will be offering personal training services and dance studio rental to provide
healthy living to the customers and for those who want to gain or lose weight. Those
services are catered to health conscious individuals specifically to those people who want
to prevent and possibly even stop heart diseases, diabetes, cancer and other chronic disease.
The company also considered building relationship with customers to ascertain long-term
connection.

The establishment of the company will serve as a wake-up call to those individuals
who want to have a healthy body and mind and to attain the body shape they want to have.
As well as this proposal gives employment to the locality for them to assure financial
stability to their respective families. The services itself will endow the consumers a
disciplined and better outlook of themselves. Thus, increases their self-confidence.

Other Socio Corporate Responsibility

The company aims to become socially responsible while performing its business
operations. We will conduct a clean-up drive operation and tree planting every quarter of
the year. It will be participated by all of the employees of the company. The company will
always be willing to help the community in cases of calamities by giving their immediate
necessities. Support assistance will also be our priority in order to help local residents.

SUMMARY, CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION

This chapter illustrates the summarization of the study conducted in establishing a

fitness gym. On how the compiled data makes the proponents business be feasible, viable,
marketable, manageable, profitable, and socially acceptable also, on how to improve and
sustain its procedures.

Marketing Feasibility

The company will engage in operating and offer services in a fitness gym. The
proponents were inspired by the remarkable benefits of having a healthy lifestyle through
physical activities. Body Works Fitness Gym will be located at Tanauan, Leyte. The
proponents choose Region 8 as its target area as the company begins its business, catering
to one of the needs of the people in the Region.

The basis of the target market was the records of the current population of Tanauan
provided by the government of Tanauan. As ascertained from the data provided by the
demand supply gap, it shows that there is demand for our service resulting in paving a way
for Body Works Fitness Gym company in entering the market.

Management Feasibility

The proponent shall create the business in the form of general partnership wherein
the partners shall contribute equally as agreed in the articles of partnership. Each partner
shall also be liable to the extent of their personal properties.

The partners will be the one who will manage the business relative to their assigned
roles in the company. Mark Joseph will act as the General Manager. He is responsible for
the whole operation of the business through effective leadership. Ample Caones will be the

Gym Manager. He will be responsible in overseeing the effectiveness and efficiency of the
operation flow within the business.

Body Works Fitness Gym will have a total of 14 personnel who are responsible and
assigned to different task. The employees shall compensate accordingly and will be
provided with some benefits.

The company will be implanting a democratic style of management. This style put
trust in employees and encourages them to make decisions.

Technical Feasibility

Body Works Fitness Gym will be located at Tanauan, Leyte. Using high-tech
equipments for its operation, Body Works Fitness Gym presents a classy yet affordable
gym experience. It promotes proper diet and healthy lifestyle which can prevent certain
diseases.

There are several equipments used during the operation to maximize and utilize
those physical activities an individual wants to. With this, individuals can attain the perfect
body shape curve they want.

Financial Feasibility

As shown in the projected cost of the project, it is to be financed with a total amount
of P8,174,972.16. The total amount of the project cost is allocated to the purchase of fixed
assets with the amount of P7,473,100, pre-operating expenses amounted to P 146,000,
P455,872.16 allocated to the working capital requirements for the period of three (3)
months and P100,000 allocated for the contingency fund.

The introduction of the business does not solely deals with obtaining profit but also

government and the community as a whole. This would help improve the economic
situation of the country as one of the service company upholding social responsibility.

company provide quality service to those health conscious persons. Buyer-seller
relationship will be given importance of the company. The business provides opportunities
to those employed individuals to be part of the company. Moreover, it reduces the rate of
unemployment which has a positive impact to the country’s economic status. Another
benefit that the government can obtain in this project is the collection of registration and
licenses fee and annual taxes. And of course, the business also supports environmental

Based on the study conducted and the results achieved from it, it concludes that the
proposed business is feasible, showing the relationship of the costs that will be incurred
with the projected income. Additionally, through effective marketing strategies and tactics,
it will assure the marketability of the business. And with the competent personnel that the
business will have, the operation will be at effective and efficient way, thus, it provides
quality services to the customers and increases its satisfactory value.

Nowadays, people are being engaged into different physical activities due to its
health benefits and satisfaction that may arise, particularly in Tanauan, Leyte. Thus, the
proponent’s proposed Body Works Fitness Gym will serve as instrument for the interested
customers promote their healthy lifestyle, boost their self-esteem and to improve their
mental discipline.

To become a well-known fitness gym in the municipality, region or country, proper

and effective operation is very vital. For it will be the basis in the successfulness of the
proposed business. Being able to surpass those uncertainties that may happen is also one
of the factors that must be considered. Starting up a business will be hard if it will not be
properly managed and not able to defy existing competitors in the long-run operation of
the business. Therefore, the company will enter into innovation, adapting with the current
trends and technologies, that as year goes by, the improvement of its facilities will be
attained and to offer additional services to customers will be realized.

As time goes by, operations will be improved, providing services that will make
the customers satisfied, hiring more competent personnel, acquiring more and innovate
equipment and machineries therefore subject for building expansion. Also, through
effective marketing procedures applied, nearby places within the region, will be part of the
target market.

Marketing Feasibility. It can be improved through performing and innovating

different marketing strategies to gradually increase its market share. Addition of services
will follow therefore improves the business itself as well as keeps the customer’s loyalty
as it increases their satisfactory value.

Management Feasibility. It can be improved by hiring competent personnel that

has those skills and capabilities to run the business effectively and efficiently. Also, the

favourable to the government of Tanauan since greater taxes will be paid to them. Also, it
will decrease the unemployment rate and will help them alleviate their financial capabilities
since the business will hire more personnel as the business expands.
