Heading “Saanjhi Unnati” Operation for Barley .
Resposibility includes
- Selection of area and recruiting franchisee to run the business as per company norms and
standard.
- Making member farmers & distributing them seed and other agri input.
- Monitoring there crop and disseminating agronomical technology to enhance quality and
productivity .
- Guiding farmers for Post harvest technology to keep quality intact and get maximum out
put .
- Buy back Barley produce directly from Farmers .
- Managing the entire operation starting from Procurement at centre to dispatch to ware
house.
- Managing the ware house and dispatched as per requirement.

Heading the staples category business for Pan India involving Cereals, Pulses, Wheat, Flours, Sugar, Salt,
Spices, and Dry Fruits, while leading a team of people.
Managing the sourcing and procurement of bulk agro commodity from local market and origin source from
different vendors and companies.
Managing the operations of Repacking Center and Logistics to obtain bulk commodity and Private Lebel to ensure
proper stock availability at all stores.
May 2011 to June 2012: Metro Cash & Carry India Private Limited Gurgaonas Manager Commodities
Successfully Launched Metro cash & carry Business in North India from zero level to four state includes Range
preparation to vendor base development to selling from Store.
Led the complete agrocommodity business from sourcing till sale for various categories including Cereals, Pulses,
Wheat, Flours, Sugar, Salt, Spices, Edible Oils and Dry Fruits.
Generated substantial business from all sub-categories and entire staples category throughappropriate SKU mix,
finalizing vendors and TOTs, product pricing, placement, promotions, DC and store fill rate.
Involved in interfacing with the supply chain for effective inventory management, inbound and outbound supply
chain for staples category.

Jan 2008 to May 2011: Future ValueRetail Limited as Manager Staples – Bangalore and Hyderabad
Directed the complete category business for southern India across the states of A.P, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and
Kerala.
Managed the operations both at frond end and back end for Cereals, Pulses, Wheat, Flours, Sugar, Salt, Spices,
Edible Oils and Dry Fruits category.
Led the efforts towards driving top line and bottom line across all categories and sub categories.

Oversaw operations at the Repacking Center and logistics for bulk commodities for ensuring proper stock

Spearheaded the business operations in the assigned territory of Central UP and then Maharashtra State.
Handling procurement & price negotiation of wide Range of agricultural commodity( Cereals, coarse grain , pulses
and oil seed with brokers, traders & farmers.
Managing warehouse, stock-keeping, local logistics, & rake handling.
Liaising with Government officials for statutory issues, including attaining the required licenses and filing tax return.
Played a major role in establishing “Saathi Krishi Samadhan Kendra” at different locations and managed all centres
activities and functions and managed the following activities:
Procurement of grains directly from farmers with cash payment.
Sales of agri. inputs such as seed, pesticide, fertilizers, tractors and other agri.
machineries to farmers.
Guide member farmers for dissemination of good agronomical practices.
Organized training for farmers for better farming.
Provided soil and water testing facility to farmers.
Manage a big team , business partners , farmers and Government official.
